Austin / Austen hotel is a surprisingly nice standard hotel. It occupies some of the floors of a bigger hotel building. The reception is on the third floor above the second floor canteen. The entrance is just beside the big hotel's glass doors, a few meters down around on the corner. Look at the signs for "Austen".
The location is great, right beside (just down the street from) the park entrance. The whole street below is a great food street, worth checking out in the evenings for good and cheap eats.
The staff helped us quickly and competently. Nothing above and beyond, but nothing wrong with the service either.
The room was surprisingly good, with decent (and surprisingly comfortable) beds, tea and coffee area, and long double business desk. The window looked out on the highway, but was removed far enough that it wasn't too loud. The back side of the hotel rooms I suspect would only have a view of other buildings, as the hotel floors aren't high enough to clear the other buildings and have a view of the hills / park. The shower was very weird, though -- it felt like something out of an RV, being entirely composed of molded beige plastic. Surreal, and small. Shower was still good, though.
