Brewery Park Hotel

We had a problem with only luke warm water for the shower. Management was immediate to answer, suggested we didnt let it run long enough. 6-7 minute shower should have been plenty long enough. However, because of the issue, they were quick to offer us a different room which we delcined. Prompt texts but warm water blamed on not running it long enough because the unit hadn't been used recently was a bit farfetched in my opinion.

Nice room, very clean. Very accommodating staff - we had to cancel our second night last minute due to a family illness and they refunded us the cost (thank you!!). ******* advertises parking included but this is not accurate. There is ample street parking but during the day you have to move your car every two hours, so not ideal if you are travelling with a vehicle.

Very cute. Gives me posh hostel vibes. Boutique hotel is the perfect descriptor. Highly recommend for a little staycation.

Super clean and cozy. We stayed there as we were going out in the city for the night and was super easy. Although there’s no dedicated parking, it was super easy to find parking around the corner. Definitely recommend

There's many things I liked about the brewery park hotel. The bed was comfortable, the decor was nice, plenty of things to walk to in the neighborhood. Overall though, I found it not a very good place to stay. The street is busy and the windows do a very poor job blocking out the noise from the traffic. I live in a city that is much larger and busier than Halifax and I know that it is possible to be on a busy street and still have quiet inside. The front door is supposed to be locked at all times so only guests can open it using their access code on the keypad. It was not locked once in my two day stay. The curtains in the room do not block out light, so we were woken up pretty early. There are no hooks or towel bars in the bathroom of the room we were in. It's a bunch of of little things that add up to alot of dissatisfaction with a very pricey hotel room. I have enjoyed stays in other "no contact" hotels, but I think this one needs to work on a few things to justify the high prices of the rooms.

Well appointed room. Great location. Parking was a concern. Our stay was enjoyable.

Overall, the property was nice and spacious, nicely decorated and in a good location.

Absolutely amazing stay for couples. Within walking distance of great places. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend
