I recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough! Hotel Property: 1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces. Service 1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride. 2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day. The Not-So-Great Stuff: There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better. 1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night. 2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed. But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

This hotel’s location is amazing. Right in the center of all the action. So many shops and street vendors. Close to the water puppet theater 🎭 and the lake. Unfortunately, we had to leave this hotel earlier than planned and although we had a non refundable room, the hotel was nice enough to give us a free taxi ride to the airport. The rooms are nice and clean, very comfortable. Not the view that we thought we would had, but spent most of the day and evening outside exploring. I would highly recommend this hotel.

BEST HOTEL IN THE TOWN Due to work in hospitality for 14 years, I am quite fastidious in hotel detail requirement. This is the first time I have been stayed here, but these such experiences are so much unexpected amazing. This hotel is small, modern and cozy, located in famous and busy Old Town in Hanoi. It is very convenient for you to find anything you want, just a few steps from the hotel: food, coffeeshop, shopping, Circle K, beer street....Especially, just 3 minute walking to Hoan Kiem Lake. The new hotel room with white color and simple decoration speak of ”super clean”, of bright light. The bed is nice, big and comfortable. And you will really feel the whole town from the lovely balcony, I do enjoy it, especially in early morning and late night. One of the greatest features in this hotel is the room scent. So so so good, I do love it badly! The thing this hotel should be so proud of is the best service. They really go extra miles. When I arrive in morning due to early flight, they help me with early check in, providing me a lot of useful information about the local entertainment and food. The receptionist (ms. Hiền), the housekeeping are so nice, helpful, with big smiles all the times. The owner is courteous. She cares me much...I really feel HOME SWEET HOME. Many thanks to her hospitality! Overall, this is a great hotel. What you get is much more than what you pay. I would 100% definitely recommend this hotel for others and I will be back again.

We had two stays before and after a Ha Long bay trip (luggage stored for free). Great hotel, well-located a few mins walk from great shopping and tourist activities. Friendly, efficient staff who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. All staff were wonderful and particularly Phoebe at reception. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Centrally located to explore Old Town, Hanoi and walking distance to the French Quarter. Hotel room is large and clean. Has a mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Small bottle of water included and fridge is stocked with beer, pop and large water you can purchase. The bed is firm, air conditioning works. Bathroom amenities include a toothbrush which was great. The only thing they don’t have is hair conditioner (not sure any in Vietnam do). Breakfast is included and caters to locals and North Americans as they will fry you up eggs. The hotel can arrange private transport from the airport for $14 Cdn per person which is great.

Truly wonderful service, great location, very nice rooms, the best tasting restaurant on rooftop with amazing views. Really happy we stayed here. The employee named Don also helped upgrade our room, book us a train ticket last minute, store our bags, and and check out late. The only minor improvement could be that the gym is limited and had a slightly not working machine. Overall would recommend to everyone.
