The hotel is in a lovely setting, the hotel it's self is nice and has character. The rooms need a serious update. The beds are uncomfortable and to soft, we stayed in a Family room/ disabled room, the toilet was very low, and loose so no good for a disabled guest also the toilet lid kept closing a bit like a venus fly trap. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable for our children. Breakfast wasn't out from 8am, I was shocked to find there wasn't any fried eggs. Mushrooms were salty as was the bacon. The staff are friendly, House keeping need to clean the rooms and service area better as loads of cobwebs and dust.
