Clean and tidy little hotel for its money!!! Especially was surprised and satisfied with clean AC filters, which usually are very dirty. And this is really important, cuz even in expensive hotels it’s very rare thing. Thank you!!!

We booked the place because of the great reviews without realising it's actually in the middle of the backpacker district (we are maybe a little old for backpacking - or maybe not!!) And it was great!! Fantastic host, great location and really really quiet. The room had great air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and all for an incredible price. And right in the middle of the action, great restaurants and bars just around the corner.

Vy's guesthouse is quality budget accommodation. It is safe and well run, and Vy is helpful, lining up a Cu Chi Tunnel tour for us at a better price than anything on line. If you are wanting a safe and homely environment in this area, my wife and I totally recommend Vy's place.

Great location, right near the walking street but very quiet. Vy and her family make the stay. Vy is very welcoming and is on hand to help you navigate the area. She gave me a map with some key phrases to use, and lots of recommendations on where to ho and where to eat. Would highly recommend.

Wherever in the world I've travelled to, I've been treated well and I've been treated politely (because they're paid to). What you see in the pictures are exactely what you get in terms of your accommodation but, you get so much more... From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly. Vy gives you a detailed map(she prepared it herself), color coded with attractions, places to eat, all you need. If you'te not sure where to go, she walks with you there. I'd the best experience in Vietnam during my 3 days in Ho Chi Minh, thank you Vy and her mum for going above and beyond to make sure I did! At 5* hotels you're treated like a king/queen but at Vy's guesthouse you're treated like family!

Vy the owner was very friendly, provide map of sightseeing and shopping in English which makes our holiday so much easier. Serves us free coffee every morning. Room was spacious and clean. Would return for sure.

We stayed with Ms Vy for 5 nights and had a perfect experience. The room was spotlessly clean with good air conditioning, the location is in the heart of District 1 (very walkable to all attractions we wanted to see) and the owner was so lovely in taking care of us, providing recommendations for places to visit, doing our laundry for a very reasonable price, and even offering free coffee each morning. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was great! The rooms were air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. Vy was so helpful and accommodating in giving us tips on what to do and where to go for food and sightseeing. The room was quiet with no noise even though we were very close to some of the busy night areas. Would definitely stay again!
