GGuest UserThe moment I entered the inn, I was struck by the beautiful setting. The courtyard is beautifully decorated, complete with a swing, and the ancient architecture is renovated with a modern touch. The rooms are new and clean, making it a safe place for children. I highly recommend the service. The staff was incredibly smiling throughout, proactively explaining the area and nearby attractions, and reminding us to get a table in advance for dining, which was a real plus. The rooftop terrace offers excellent drone viewing without the crowds. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, right at the entrance to Gulou East Street, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and other attractions. I'll definitely be staying here when I visit Shanxi.

GGuest UserThe location is very good, between Huayan Temple, Bell Tower and Grand Mosque, and it is also close to popular restaurants such as Fenglinge, Longjuxiang, Zini and Heshengcai. The staff are hospitable and willing to introduce the delicious and fun things around. The room facilities are very new and the bedding is comfortable. There is an elevator in the building, and you can take a taxi at the bell tower roundabout, so it is very convenient to get in and out. recommend!

GGuest UserThis hotel is very close to the Datong Ancient City direct train station. The room is incredibly spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic night view of the ancient city wall. The massage chair has basic functions. The projector can't be aimed directly, which is a bit of a minor inconvenience but not a deal-breaker. After all, for a holiday period, the value for money at this location and with this amount of space easily beats other hotels nearby.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu.
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies.
My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily.
The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing.
I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

The breakfast arrangement was not careful. The location was relatively remote. The advantage was that it was close to the airport high-speed rail station, but it was not very good. Take a taxi, But it's not expensive to take a fast train in Datong.
