"We had an amazing 2N stay at Ringo Lodge! Room was ok size for 3 pax, service was great and breakfast was basic but decent. The place is well kept and easy to get to with a car. The only thing we needed to get used to was the shared toilet/shower arrangement. The shower was spacious and had an open air bath which was really nice, especially after a long day! There is only 1 toilet for each gender, toilet does not have a heater, so can be quite cold in Winter months."

"The hotel service was great, and the hot springs were fantastic – loved the milk too! The East Wing is more convenient for accessing the public hot springs. However, I have to complain about the restaurant. There was a typo on the menu (appetizer listed as '24mouth' instead of '24month'), and when I kindly pointed it out, they acted as if I was deliberately looking for trouble. The shrimp on the second day wasn't fresh, and the chef wasn't very friendly when they brought out a replacement dish. This restaurant seriously dragged down my overall hotel experience. The poor service in the restaurant alone cost them two points."

"The best part about this hotel was definitely the breakfast – they had everything from Japanese to Western options. I especially loved the soba noodles and the fried eggs. The coffee was good too, and they offered various egg rolls. The room itself was quite spacious; we had no trouble fitting our two large suitcases. However, the bathroom was a bit small, feeling somewhat disproportionate to the rest of the room. The other hotel facilities were pretty basic; there wasn't much to attract us beyond just needing a place to sleep for the night. Because of this, paying over 3100+ per night (including breakfast) felt a bit expensive."

"The old house converted into a hotel The price is moderate. It is a bit far from the scenic spot, suitable for self-driving tour. There is no good brunch nearby, Fortunately, the hotel provides a simple breakfast. There is a big restaurant 2 minutes away by foot, It is only open at night, and it is a good Japanese restaurant. Features hot stone facilities. The bathroom in the room is relatively simple, and the public bathing place has to go to the annex a few buildings away. quiet and simple community "

"Hotel La Vigne Hakuba was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful minimalist design and feels clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and rooms were pleasantly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The concierge team was extremely helpful and the overall service throughout the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a very functional layout. The bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel also provides excellent facilities for skiers, including a dedicated storage and locker room for ski equipment, as well as a separate shower room where guests can freshen up and change after skiing on the day of check-out. Overall, a fantastic stay at Hotel La Vigne Hakuba — highly recommended."

"The price of the snow season is quite expensive. The big bed room is 5000+, and the Gaza hair bed is more than 300. This hotel is marked with four stars, but the Google search is marked with Samsung. Not run by locals in Japan, the sanitary environment is really average, the big bathing venue is sticky, there are floating hair in the pool, and the towels are thrown everywhere. The carpet used in the room, but the vacuum is not thorough, and the dust allergy has to wear a mask, and the purifier can be comfortable. Breakfast is all European, there is no Japanese soup or the like, cold food. I wanted to use a dryer, but as soon as I entered the socks, the dryer was full of black hair. The pick-up day was also promised 15 minutes, but I waited for 30 minutes. I called again and said that there were other things on the road. Not recommended, if you want to come to Baima, it is recommended to book other hotels."

"The location isn't particularly convenient. Walking uphill is required, and the hotel is nestled in the woods. It can be a bit intimidating if you go after dark. It's best to eat breakfast and dinner in your room, or bring some food back to the hotel for your own meals. There aren't many restaurants near the hotel, and getting around is inconvenient without a car."

"What an awesome experience! The hotel offered exemplary service before we even arrived. Due to special travel arrangements, we arrived late and the staff quick to arrange an in-room bento dinner for us before our arrival. When we got there, we were immediately blown away by the gorgeousness of the hotel. Despite its age, everything was very clean and polished. I can see that great care had been taken to upkeep the hotel and it’s premises, which are extraordinarily beautiful. We couldn’t resist taking pictures even after check-out, and it took us an hour to finally reluctantly leave. Words cannot actually do the place justice, you must visit there yourself. We were very impressed with how delicious the food was, and the attention to detail, including the placement of the food, the coordination of food color. My mouth is still watering as I recall how delicious it was. I had 10 helpings of their prime rib one day. Besides, I had a dietary restriction and the staff were really careful with that, to the extent of reminding me what dishes not to eat everyday at their breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to excellent food and service, the hotel went out of its way to be very eco-friendly. For every day that we did not need our room to be tidied, we earned points, which can be traded in for ice cream or other goodies. Finally, the staff spoke perfect English. This is rare indeed, and it made everything so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the experience!"

"Pros: It's close to the ski lift, which provides access to all the slopes. There's a rental shop nearby for skis, snowboards, and sleds for kids. The staff sometimes drove us to the store or main street. It's beautiful on the outside, and on sunny days, there's a stunning mountain view from the window. Cons: The breakfast was meager and repetitive. Dinner was expensive – ¥4000 per adult, so we didn't even go and ate elsewhere. The room was freezing cold! It didn't warm up all day, even with the air conditioning set to 30 degrees Celsius. Especially the futon area – it felt like a 'cold shower' (literally, a 'sobering-up room'). Bottom line – I don't recommend this hotel."

"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. There's a self-service UCC coffee machine in the lobby with free refills. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the large windows offered fantastic views of the snowy landscape. Our room was fully equipped for cooking, with a stove, sink, microwave, fridge, and kettle – everything you need to prepare your own dinner if you're on vacation. If you're driving, there's a large supermarket just a minute or two away. Plus, there's a hot spring bath, which is perfect for soaking away fatigue after skiing. They also offer free parking and ski equipment rental, which was both good quality and reasonably priced. If I ever visit Hakuba again, I'd definitely choose this hotel."
