We had two rooms for a family of 5. The location of the hotel is perfect overlooking the yacht harbour, check in was smooth and the hotel staff were really helpful and polite. Evening meal was taken in the attached restaurant and the food was perfect. Breakfast is best taken outside looking out over the harbour. The hotel is ideally located and Granville is a lovely town. Parking is free but it did take a while to find a space. We would definitely stay here again when crossing to Cherbourg.

We enjoyed our stay at this Mercure hotel. Our smallish, weirdly designed room had a nice balcony overlooking the city and the ocean. We were also visited each day twice by our favored, big seagull. Given that the site for the hotel is located on a tall cliff, the guestrooms, hallways, small breakfast restaurant and mainly the impossible parking garage (super tight, be careful!) all appear cramped and tight. The staff is hardworking, especially during breakfast hours. We enjoyed the direct private access to the beach promenade. A short walk from the hotel you reach the superb Christian Dior estate and gardens. Not to be missed.

Magnificent castle experience! Merci to our spectacular hosts @chateaudechantore for their wonderful hospitality!💋Michel surprised me by whisking me away for the long weekend to visit Mont St Michel. Imagine my surprise when I who live “la vie en rose” arrived at a pink château! 💕It was absolutely perfect and decorated, restored and run with so much love by the owners.🌹 Breakfast was exceptional. 🏰 Even better than life with a silver spoon is eating Bernard’s soft Normandy scrambled eggs on a gold Christofle fork. 🦢Lovebirds will feel right at home next to the peacocks and the swans. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Everything about this property is exquisite. 💫 The breakfast table was truly set for a king with so much opulence, thoughtful details and beauty- I can not wait to go back. 👑 If you like New England B & Bs, do yourself a favor and visit this magnificent chateau in France!🇫🇷
