In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.
