JI Hotel (Shanghai Songjiang Chenshan Botanical Garden) is a JI Hotel 5.0 property featuring a garden and a musical fountain. As a benchmark in the mid-range hotel segment, JI Hotel has always adhered to its brand mission of "Designed for the Chinese, to be experienced by foreigners". It draws humanistic spirit from Oriental wisdom and refines value connotations from contemporary life.
The aesthetics of different regions essentially imitate the nature of their respective landscapes. Westerners emphasize style, structure and logic, while the design upgrade of JI Hotel 5.0 incorporates many gradient colors to reflect the Chinese sense of "blank space" and artistic conception.
The upgraded JI Hotel 5.0 not only brings the landscape artistic conception in Su Shi's poems into the hotel, offering more contemporary and freehand aesthetic satisfaction, but also creates a unique humanistic perception for every guest entering JI Hotel. Amid the open-minded poetry of "Yet the distant mountains stretch long, the cloud-cloaked mountains are tangled, and the dawn-lit mountains are green", guests can find an accommodation experience of "a mountain, a river, a secluded world".

The facilities are new and very clean, especially the hairdryer – it's so good and dries hair in no time! We were traveling with our pet, and this place was incredibly pet-friendly. As long as our dog didn't disturb other guests, any size was fine! The front desk staff and cleaning ladies all loved our dog and said he was very well-behaved. We were so happy, and I've already recommended it to all my friends! We'll definitely be staying here again next time!

During the May Day holiday, I took my whole family to Songjiang. We had originally booked an east-facing room, but due to full occupancy or some other reason, the front desk upgraded us to a lake-view twin room, which had fantastic views directly overlooking Moon Lake. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities suitable for adults, seniors, older children, and toddlers. There's an electric boat, kayaks, paddleboards, an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a children's playground, a pet park, a zip line, and a climbing wall. You can also try fishing, digging in the sand, and trampolining. In the lobby, there were also some intangible cultural heritage activities and a clown making balloon animals. In the evening, we even watched a special May Day firework display. The kids absolutely didn't want to leave the hotel, and the seniors could enjoy a walk or climb the relatively low East Sheshan Mountain. The breakfast was quite rich, and the homemade Eggs Benedict was a unique touch.

I stumbled upon this newly opened Atour 3.6 hotel during a business trip, initially just wanting to try it out, but I ended up having a perfect experience far beyond my expectations. I have to give it a five-star review! As a long-time Atour customer, I've always appreciated the brand's quality, and this new location surprised me with so many thoughtful details. I especially want to commend the front desk staff member, Yanhe, whose professional and responsible attitude made me feel truly welcome.
Due to my tight business schedule, I arrived at the hotel more than two hours earlier than my estimated check-in time, and my room wasn't ready yet. I expected a long wait in the lobby, but to my surprise, Yanhe at the front desk greeted me warmly right away. Upon hearing my situation, there was no perfunctory response at all. Instead, he patiently discussed solutions, checking the room cleaning progress while proactively offering luggage storage and thoughtfully directing me to the hotel's lounge area to wait, even offering hot water. His gentle demeanor and clear communication throughout completely relieved my fatigue and anxiety from traveling. While I was waiting, he also took the initiative to inform me about the hotel's facilities and breakfast times. This meticulous service made me feel a sense of belonging instantly.
After checking in and entering the room, despite it being a new hotel, there was absolutely no strange odor inside. The decor was simple, elegant, yet cozy, and all the facilities were brand new and fully equipped, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay. What surprised me even more was the efficient check-out experience. As I was pressed for time to catch my high-speed train, I went to the front desk early in the morning to check out. Yanhe maintained his professional and meticulous service, quickly verifying my information and processing the procedures. Even the invoicing process was very smooth. Everything was completed in less than ten minutes, without delaying my travel plans at all. This kind of efficient and convenient service is incredibly important for business travelers!
As a newly opened hotel, Atour 3.6 not only maintains the brand's consistent high quality in its hardware facilities but also excels in service details. Yanhe's conscientious, responsible, and considerate service made the entire check-in process smooth and reassuring. From the flexible coordination for early check-in to the efficient and convenient check-out and invoicing, everything fully demonstrated the hotel's professionalism. The next time I'm on a business trip to this city, I will undoubtedly choose Atour 3.6 again, and I've already recommended it to my colleagues who travel frequently. It's definitely worth staying at!

The appearance is unremarkable, but the interior environment is still very clean and warm. The front tone is gentle to make guests feel comfortable. The cleaning aunt is also very kind. It makes you feel at home. There is a smart robot in the lobby, which is quite fun. The room is very spacious and bright, and there are smart controls. The internal facilities are well laid out. It’s me Favorite type. There are many delicious restaurants outside the hotel. The beef noodles are super delicious, so you don’t have to worry about meals. CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
GGuest UserThis Bund hotel stay was absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk to the riverside, and my room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a perfect view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' – I could watch the Oriental Pearl Tower light up at night right from my bed. The smart toilet and automatic curtains were super convenient, and soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the river view was just heavenly! The freshly baked croissants at breakfast were so good they were practically addictive. The rooftop bar had incredible night views, and the cocktails created a fantastic ambiance. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room and sent welcome fruits, and the robot delivering food was adorable. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Plus, free laundry and drying service was such a thoughtful touch! The location is unbeatable – Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside. For around 400+ RMB per person, it felt like a thousand-yuan experience. As a detail-oriented person, I was completely won over. I'm definitely booking this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!
MMenglitanle. The facilities are great, and the room is spacious. Every time I come to Shanghai, I stay at this hotel. The front desk service is excellent, and the cleaning staff do a thorough and meticulous job. I highly recommend this place; they even have free popcorn at the front desk and complimentary whiskey. My girlfriend and I always stay here. The movies are also great, and there's a free membership that allows screen casting. Rooms with windows offer a view of the plane trees.
IimnotminFrom the moment you step into the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, the elegant charm of Old Shanghai beautifully intertwines with the Bund's vibrant bustle. From your room, you can take in the Lujiazui skyline, with the Huangpu River's day and night flow just outside your window. The personalized concierge service from Aaron Echole was incredibly meticulous, and the entire staff, from concierge to the front desk, exuded the calm sophistication of a long-standing luxury hotel. Enjoying a 'Shanghai Club' cocktail at the Long Bar in the evening felt like stepping back in time to the social scene of a century ago. An absolutely impeccable stay.
GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus!
However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices.
Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort.
On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.
EElianaCThis review is long overdue! I was in Shanghai for a business trip in early March, and it happened to be raining heavily then. The underfloor heating gave me the warmest, most comfortable night's sleep, and the duvet cover felt incredibly soft. It was my first time staying in a Shikumen building, and the courtyard was so unique and stylish. Both the courtyard and the room's interior design were absolutely beautiful. The unit I stayed in was located on West Yan'an Road, very close to Xintiandi and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. It was perfect – I could just stroll back after dinner in Bei Li. Check-in was also a breeze. I saw that the host manages several other unique B&Bs, so I'd love to try them out sometime!
JjaspenI've wanted to stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund for a long time, and finally got to during my recent trip to Shanghai. It wasn't as perfect as I'd imagined.
First, the good points: The environment is nice, and the cleanliness is decent. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The outdoor bar was the best experience.
Now, for the less satisfying aspects:
1. Previously, when staying at hotels, you could contact scalpers or certain individuals on platforms to use their membership tiers for room upgrades. Since I booked in advance, I contacted them early about a possible upgrade. I was told that if there was an available room type on the day, I could be upgraded. However, on the day of check-in, they claimed there were no rooms available and didn't upgrade me. At the time, I checked the Ctrip app and saw that rooms *were* available. I'm a platinum member with upgrade benefits, and I still didn't get one.
2. My Ctrip booking included two complimentary drinks, but the front desk didn't provide vouchers during check-in. I only found out at the bar that I needed to go back to the front desk to get them.
3. I had a lot of things and wanted to use the black bag in the closet. Unfortunately, it was broken, and the hotel hadn't replaced it in time.
GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, we slept soundly. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities were comprehensive and had everything we needed. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient – we could easily get to wherever we wanted to go, and it was still quiet, not noisy at all. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here!
GGuest UserI stayed here temporarily for a visa appointment. Although the room is small, it's reflected in the price, and it was perfectly fine for one person. The location is downtown, close to everything. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm very satisfied! ✅
