"We found Cow Hollow Inn and Suites about 20 years ago. It has become our favorite place to stay in the City. It is always very clean, the staff is always helpful, the parking is free and it is in one of the best locations in the City. Wonderful and fun restaurants and bars along Chestnut Street. Perfect for morning walks to the Palace of Fine Arts and the Marina Green. And, the adjacent restaurant, Home Plate is very good and convenient for breakfast. The recent remodel makes it even better!"

"I want to go to the Golden Gate Bridge to play and choose this hotel. It is within walking distance of the Palace of Art and the Golden Gate Bridge. The front desk is very welcoming and the rooms are good. It is also very convenient to take the bus to Union Square for shopping."

"I can recommend staying at this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. Even though the rooms are rather small, they are renovated and modernly furnished, which makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast was included and sufficient for the price. Better value for money compared to other hotels. The location is good, with easy access to public transportation nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay that I would recommend."

"Great location! It's a 5-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and a 3-minute walk to the car rental company. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and public transport nearby. Big thumbs up for the complimentary Western breakfast and the 24-hour self-service coffee and hot chocolate. Rooms were cleaned daily, but even after leaving a $4 tip, the towels weren't replaced."

"It might have been New Year's Eve, as the room was really expensive. The hotel's atrium is uncovered, so you get rained on just by stepping outside. Breakfast was very simple: waffles, milk, oatmeal, and bread. Parking was very tight due to the New Year; we parked on the street for free, but I'm not sure if it's usually paid."

"The room is OK, similar to domestic express hotels. But the environment is very good, 15 minutes walk to the beach, very comfortable for a walk. It's also 15/20 minutes walk to the lively neighborhood for dinner. I'm quite satisfied"

"Everything about this place was fantastic. The service, the cleanliness, the facilities, etc. The only thing that wasn't perfect was getting back to the hotel at night, because some of the surrounding streets seemed a bit dangerous, but that's not the hotel's fault."

"Great value for money! If you're traveling solo in San Francisco and want to avoid hostels, this is a fantastic option. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM, but they didn't rush me even though I was a little late checking out. It's located in a quiet neighborhood."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn San Francisco Golden Gateway. Among all the Holiday Inn hotels we’ve stayed at, this is definitely one of the best. The location is very convenient. Within a few minutes’ walk, we could easily get fresh groceries at Whole Foods Market, which was a big plus. The hotel’s breakfast also offers a wide selection of food, making it a great way to start the day. Public transport is another highlight — buses are easily accessible on foot, which makes the whole city feel much closer and very convenient to explore from this hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially appreciated the higher-floor views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money in San Francisco. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"Although it is not in Union Square, which everyone chooses, I personally think it is better here. First, the price is cheaper than United, and the second is the convenient transportation. There are many buses at the door. It is convenient to go anywhere. The bus costs $3 per person, and it’s free within two hours. By the way, the room is very new, smart toilet, I booked the cheapest room, so the space is quite small, the two suitcases are spread out, not easy to put, but the room design is reasonable, I like it. There is no breakfast. After paying the full amount for the room, I paid another 200 USD deposit, which has not been refunded."
