Harmony Bay Hotel

First time here as we usually stay with mum who lives in Limassol. I understand this use to be a COVID hub hotel so it’s well known and centrally located in town by many restaurants and clubs close by and opposite a lovely beach. We arrived late 11:45pm and night check in was ok , didn’t give us much info on hotel, wifi etc although the night staff gent was kind to give us some milk (pasteurised) so we could have a cup of tea. We were on the 5th floor, room 518 which was a sort of sea room, although sea/pool facing rooms were far better and what I would call a sea facing room. Our room was east facing. Our room had a double bed, single bed and a little futon which when turned down could be another bed suitable for a child, although the room to move around would be really tight. The room wasn’t overtly big to begin with to be honest. The balcony was an ok size although there was some building work going on to the side of the hotel in the distance, not a lot of noise. The room was equipped with a kettle and hairdryer and mini fridge. If you wanted to use the safe, it’s €3 per day. Shower was a good size, although water pressure was rubbish. Small TV on wall had only 1 British channel in the eve , the rest was German and other languages, no smart channels you could log into. Not a lot of hanging space for clothes but they did have a 3 prong plugs everywhere so you didn’t have to worry about adapters. It was cleaned to a good standard. You have to put your toilet paper in bins and not down the loo which I didn’t like at all especially in the heat. We had some issues with balcony doors not closing and some lights in the room having blown out and maintenance sorted it out within, I kid you not, within 3 mins. Unfortunately, the balcony door was still faulty when we left. Breakfast was fine, loads of seats and plenty to eat to suit all tastes. Pool wasn’t big, but there was plenty of sun beds and you were literally opposite the sea. Loads of kids when we were here dive bombing and making lots of noise which was irritating. Pool bar and restaurant was ok to be fair and moderately priced. Most staff were very polite and helpful apart from Christalla on reception who was quite rude to us when we enquired about extending our stay, it’s the first time ever that a hotel has never tried to help as we had a late flight home and also when we tried organising a taxi home for my 90 yr old mother last night, I was told to wait in reception and I tried to explain that my mother was at the top which fell on deaf ears. We ended up having to use the gyms shower cubicle which actually is on a timed light so halfway through my shower I was left in complete darkness and had to scramble trying to find the sink to wave to get the light to come back on. Secondly I was concerned that when I asked for the key for the holding room for luggage I was told by the man who was on duty with Christalla on the day we were leaving that they don’t lock the luggage door

Atlantica Miramare Beach

Germasogeia Germasogeia|0.57km from Caffè Pascucci
The hotel is located on the promenade in Limassol although not very close to the marina area near which all the activity centers in the evening are located. At the same time, there is a convenient bus line No. 30 that travels along the entire boardwalk and is easy to get to the marina and reaches the final stop at the mall in the port area a little outside the city. Back on the same route. There is no reality in this mall and in Cyprus in general. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, there is a pool for adults, a pool for children and a pool for toddlers and an indoor pool where the water is too cold and there is also an air conditioner. At the entrance to the sea there are small and large stones and for those who are not used to it, it hurts and you can get injured. Therefore, it is recommended to wear rubber shoes or enter the water on top of the plastic dock that reaches deep. Arriving at the hotel in Larnaca is possible by taxi which costs about 50 euros. The most economical way is to take the shuttle bus which costs 10 euros per person, less for a child. Buyer's card in the archway near the exit of the terminal on the left. Get off at its first stop in Limassol called St. Raphael and from there take bus line 30 with a journey of at least 10 stops. Costs 1.5 euros, pay the driver. Get off in front of the entrance to the restaurant called ”The Garden” in English, ask the driver. Continue walking about 40 meters and turn left in the alley leading to the hotel, there is a sign. The hotel looks nice mainly in the public areas, lobby. The rooms are smaller, simple and understated furniture, nothing fancy. The safe could not be opened, maybe for a fee. There is a kettle with coffee. small fridge. Wired internet computer connection, for a fee. The breakfast is fine, no changes. There is what is needed for the Israeli menu, I was missing white Greek cheeses and types of pastries. The hotel is suitable for adults, couples and those who want peace because there is not much to do in it and in the area, apart from relaxing and swimming in the sea or the pool. The hotel has breakfast and it is also possible to pay lunch for 23 euros and dinner for 28 euros, not including drinks. free water Returning to the field in Larnaca is possible by the same route, line 30 to St. Rafael and from there the shuttle to the airport. There is no reality in duty free there, the price is the same as abroad and in Israel.

Check out our visual video review on Youtube by searching ATLANTICA OASIS LIMASSOL CYPRUS Tripadvisor Review or check our channel at FoodTravelMusicLove.com. We go in to full details of all areas of interest over 27 minutes of footage ROOMS Great Air con, nice decor and great WIFI. Flat screen Tv with UK sports channels and HDMI ports for a fire stick. Lots of storage and nice views from most rooms BARS AND DRINKS Great election of cocktails and cocktails that you can mix and match with ALL Local drinks, NO branded drinks (spirits) at all are included BUT this is not a problem as the quality is really nice 3 bars and an evening bar, plus a coffee bar with latte / syrups etc all included RESTAURANTS AND FOOD Small selection compared to huge AI properties but the quality beat the quantity, very good, and I mean VERY good food and for all diets catered for. One main buffet room and a BBQ night are included plus a visit to ONE al a carte which is shame as it could and should be both places. But the in house Alacarte was exceptional Not a great breakfast IF you want a full English but otherwise its very nice, lovely selection of show cooked eggs and omelettes Mocha Bar also offers lots of sarnies, cakes, sausage rolls, pastries pasties etc but NO nibbles are included like peanuts and crisps or choc, you have to pay for this ENTERTAINMENT AND ANIMATION Bingo, quizzes and lots of outside acts coming in, VERY good entertainment in our professional opinion compared to other properties However the animation is very low key and we didn’t get to know the staff in this department when normally we’re on first named terms within a day or two Water activities, darts, pool, ping pong and football were the main animation activities FACILITIES AND SERVICES Football Basketball and tennis courts, arcades, air hockey and retro games, playgrounds all nice and easy to find 2 main pools, lovely and clean and one is a quiet adults only plus a children’s pool plus a lovely indoor pool which not many people used but means its nice and quiet Massage, beauty treatments extra but look nice VERY good gym facilities, well stocked with paper towels and water machine but poor air con sadly, needs addressing OFFICIAL FOODTRAVELMUSICLOVE.COM RATING In our professional opinion the Atlantic Oasis Hotel offers fairly good value for money at around £80pppn for flights, food, drink, transfers, entertainment etc etc based on a near peak season stay and the service and amenities are fantastic Our official rating is 9/10, equal to a Tripadvisor rating of 5 stars. Excellent example of a quality Med All Inclusive Hotel.

Odysseia Hotel Kapetanios

I really liked the hotel and staff for my visit this year. Yes minor faults in the room, but this is a 3-star hotel, so did not expect a flawless experience. The staff was always friendly and helpful, I was mainly there for warmer weather and ankle rehab via the pool onsite, which I might add was great. The O'Brian bar staff are busy at times and that can delay service, but it's not meant to be busy like a UK pub. The room was acceptable with a balcony view of a new build called the Trilogy, so although they started work at 6.30 am the double-glazed door kept a vast amount of the noise out. The best balcony experience would be poolside as this captures the sun for most of the day, and 1st floor has an extended balcony with a table and a sun umbrella. The reception also has a supply of towels for the pool, so you do not have to take the towels out of your room. Checking in and out was great, and they have a spare area for luggage to be kept after checking out so you can still explore the area before your taxi arrives back at the airport. I shall look forward to returning to this hotel, based on the service and the prices.

Great service from all the staff - reception/lobby, breakfast room, housekeeping, spa/hairdressing, bar/room service. Liked the location. Days off - two 'city bicycle' hire stands (Nextbike by Tier) nearby gave me the wheels to explore old town and surroundings. On remote working days - Walking distance to a great little vegan food van, organic supermarket and Bobo pops (ice cream), walks were welcome breaks from the laptop. Room impeccably clean and very comfortable, north facing room on 4th floor had a pleasant city/mountains view. Mini fridge was great for keeping snacks (and sundowners!) cool. WiFi worked well, I remote worked with it, without any problems, for over two weeks. The desk and chair were comfortable and there were enough well located plugs - and the blurred Zoom background looked professional (although it was the bed/headboard!). Breakfast was excellent, usual hot/cold stuff plus lots of fruit and 'Cypriot table' with interesting things to try out (sweet pickled walnuts, tahini cake, olives - yum). Miss the yoghurt already - with walnuts or almonds, goji berries, chia seeds etc. Free car parking on site was available, discovered a minor overnight scratch on my vehicle on the last morning but luckily had taken a zero excess insurance policy for falling rocks at Troodos mountains. Spa and hairdressing treatments were reasonably priced and available at short(ish) notice, at least now, during the 'off-season'. Had a haircut and four massage treatments, great way to relax after the remote work days when my time off was more limited. So all in all: a really pleasant stay - thank you Ajax!

Very tired hotel, rooms minimal rather scruffy and needs a good update, staff helpful and food ok, no tea making facilities but asked and they were provided, had problems with the toilet backing up but fixed quickly by the staff, I think it’s a common problem as the original hotel has 3 more floors added to the original, it’s a noisy location with lots of boy racers blasting around in the evening, lots of building work going on adjacent buildings. ”SPA “is in the basement again very tired and not inviting at all, you have to pass the garage spaces so lots of exhaust smells and past the janitors room reeking of tobacco smoke,. Shower area to spa was also very tired , sauna not working and controls broken. Outside pool ok ( very cold at this time of the year) but the view is not and photographs on the website make it look much better than it is. Lovely view of the rubbish bin and car park, Wouldn’t stay again, luckily it was a base for meeting friends elsewhere.

[Nightclub-like music can't sleep for one night] If you haven't lived in such a bad hotel, you should definitely avoid staying in Cyprus. You can't rest at all. At the time of check-in, the front desk staff was relatively cold, and no one assisted in taking the luggage. When checking out, they also pushed the baby carriage and 2 pieces of luggage to check out. On the check-in day is Saturday, no one told the restaurant on the first floor that there will be deafening dancing music from 9:00 in the night. The music will not stop until 2:30 in the middle of the night. The location is ok, the old hotel facilities are still acceptable, if you are also playing until two or three in the middle of the night before going back to sleep, you can consider... The same price in Limassol has too many other hotels to choose from.

As one of the mid -ish priced hotels in the area the hotel is ok, building a little dated but maintained. Location is good and you can take a longer stroll from town. The only thing that we would highlight is we noticed that when we had the asked the front desk to call a cab, those would never use a meter and then overcharge, however with using an app these are all metered. Not sure why the Front Desk would continue to use these drivers/taxis. We also found that when they called a cab and asked us to wait inside, they would not actually tell us when it had arrived...
