VIP Executive Zurique Hotel

Baixa Lisbon|1.94km from Around Lisbon
My recent stay at the VIP Executive Zurique Hotel was acceptable. This hotel has so much potential, and some more attention in a few areas would go a long way in transforming this property to one of a higher quality. The service was excellent. Employees were all compassionate and professional. In addition, the food offered in the hotel’s restaurant was of high quality. Prices at the property were fair. From a value point of view, I expected a bit more. I paid €439 for my eight-day stay. In addition, dinner was expensive and extremely limited. More specifically, in terms of amenities, the hotel boasts a beautiful outdoor pool area. Unfortunately, it was often overcrowded and littered with garbage. More attention to detail would remedy these issues. Wifi was available, but weak in certain parts of the hotel. A bar is located in the lobby, but opens late and closes early in the evening, making it inaccessible. The gym was closed during my time here. That was also unfortunate, as images and descriptions on websites were misleading. I stayed in an Executive Single Room during my week here. The room itself was contemporary and updated, however, housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days, my room was cleaned impeccably, others, housekeeping was abysmal or nonexistent. Towels oftentimes had rips or stains on them. The curtains had small rips and were stained. In addition, one of the blankets was stained. The provided toiletries were good. The bed itself was comfortable, but the pillows were very poor quality. The hotel did not specially publicize a smoking policy. Oftentimes, the corridors reeked of smoke. Cigarettes littered the pool deck and common areas in the hotel. Staff worked hard to keep surfaces in the lobby disinfected, however, their efforts were undermined by thousands of guests utilizing these areas. I do believe the hotel is understaffed. The hotel would benefit from having maintenance and housekeeping readily available and on call for assistance. When I necessitated maintenance, I was told I would have to wait for the following morning when the technician would be available. While the rooms were updated and contemporary, the bathrooms were rundown. The hotel shows it’s apparent age on the exterior, and in the elevators. Some surfaces were cracked and not functional. I experienced difficulties in the elevators. They stopped working at times, leaving me stuck. Again, better maintenance would remedy these concerns. The location of the hotel is a positive. It is surrounded by transit options that provide direct links to cities all across the country. This is ideal for all visitors. Overall, the hotel served it’s purpose. I do believe the hotel is ill equipped to handle the high volume of guests that stay here. Housekeeping is marginal, and must be improved. Maintenance needs to pay closer attention to the aging property. Finally, security here is lacking. I have some concerns as it pertains to safety. Front desk staff has no control over people

Zurin Charm Hotel

I stayed with my two friends for 5 nights to visit the city and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. It is very easy to get from the airport as public transport drops you just 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Even to book a cab is a great option because the fare will be around 10€ max. The hotel has a perfect location even if you are not in Lisbon old town as such, you can go by foot and it is a really nice walk. Otherwise, you can get easily taxis, buses and tram. All around the hotel. The location is important but what will really make me to come back is the team. Since we walked in (quite early) the experience was amazing. Our room was ready and with no extra charge the receptionist checked us in!! We were nicely surprised. Our triple room had a balcony and a good size. The furnitures were new, modern deco, very clean and a lot of facilities and amenities. Housekeeping cleaning standards must be mentioned as they do an outstanding job. Please, pass it to them. The room was perfectly done every day and any request was easily sorted. The reception team is just lovely. They greeted us, always with a smile, when we were going in and out. Nothing was too much troubled for them. If you need recommendations, suggestions or just to have a chit-chat do not hesitate to speak with the team. I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you as you made the most of our trip. You do an amazing job!! I will not book anywhere else for my next visit to Lisbon. Looking forward for my next holidays in this beautiful city!!!

It is a fairly well-established bed and breakfast system, located at the Sao Sebastiao metro entrance, opposite the Corte Ingles. The welcome was given in French and by a very friendly and pleasant host. The room was very large. The bathroom, although pretty and very clean, was difficult to close using the installed hook. We had a fairly well-stocked breakfast, there was plenty of everything. A very pleasant break in Lisbon.

Hotel Acores Lisbon is definitey one to keep in mind. I have stayed here with some friends for a long weekend in April. The hotel is absolutely a great place to stay during your Lisbon visit. The rooms a nice, spacious and clean. Beds are soft and sheets were clean. Breakfast in the hotel is good, there is enough choice in the restaurant. The reception staff is very friendly and they try to help you with all you questions. The airport is close to the hotel and there are airplanes flying over during the day, but to be honest, it's not annoying. Whenever I go back to Lisbon I will keep this hotel in mind to stay in again.

The room is very nice and the view is very beautiful. There are buses and tram stops nearby to the old town. There is a big shopping mall opposite the hotel, where supermarket and pharmacy are available, which is convenient. I have went to the very western side of the European continent by taking the Uber, which costs about 60-80 Euros.

A stay at the top. The hotel is very well located, metro, bus, shops... clean hotel, good reception, which provides you with various information. Simple but effective rooftop swimming pool after a good day's walk, open until 9 p.m. Buffet and diversified breakfast.

This is my favorite hotel in a hotel I have stayed in in Lisbon! advanced! elegant! New! The location is especially good! There is a subway, there is a long-distance bus stop, and a taxi to the city center is 6 euros. Very convenient! There is a piano accompaniment for breakfast, and it’s a big one on the heights~ and this hotel’s bedding mattress is the most comfortable and best of all the hotels I have stayed in around the world~ very recommendable! ! !

Good breakfast, especially for the price. Room facilities leave a little to be desired as it is an old standard. It's notable that the rooms need an interior design update, newer air-conditioning, and a tv from this decade. Other than that, the staff were friendly, they did an early check-in, which helped us a lot on arrival, as we were tired, and the bed was comfortable. If your goal is to stay in a hotel with good service, but you're not going to stay to enjoy the hotel but the city, perfect. Now, if you are going to use the room facilities a lot, you will be a little uncomfortable.
