The Goring

Buckingham Palace London|0.82km from Laura Ashley Green Plaque
The hotel is small overall but exquisite and has a century of history. The Queen's badge is hung at the door, which means that the Queen can be served. This badge is also available in London or the Ritz Hotel. 1. The hotel is not 5 minutes from Victoria Station. The Royal Stable Museum is next door. It is only 10 minutes to Buckingham Palace. After visiting Buckingham Palace, you can walk along St. James Park through 10 Downing Street to Big Ben. These attractions All within walking distance. If you want to shop, choose a hotel in the Mayfair area. In addition, three or more colleagues in London recommend UBER, the subway is really expensive. 2. Upon entering the hotel, the bellman was very active to help carry the luggage, and then a special housekeeper would greet him. After the name was determined, he would take the guests to the cafe for check-in, and the drinks were free. 3. The room is relatively large in London. Aparsel is used for toiletries, aerated bottle of mineral water and hilon is used for a normal bottle. These are all royally certified products. The service of turning the night bed is also very attentive. On the bed is a little sheep, a mascot of the hotel, which can be taken away. There will be water on the bed, slippers on the bed, and pajamas on the wardrobe. There is no small refrigerator in the room. I don't know why. 4. If you book a room with breakfast, you can choose to dine in two places of the hotel, one is the hotel's restaurant, here is 1 Michelin star, here is a la carte system, providing full English meals, but dining here is more slow. In addition, if you choose to dine in the cafe, only bread and drinks are provided here, which is suitable for guests in a hurry. In addition to the hotel is not very convenient for shopping, it can be considered perfect, it is worth the experience.

The room is not big, but hotel rooms in the UK are very small, so this is pretty good. There are three of us. Equivalent to an extra bed, it costs about 2,800 yuan a night! The location is very good, about 1.5 kilometers walk to Buckingham Palace! Breakfast is delicious...😀😀😀

The rooms are older, the breakfast is ok, there is free wifi, and it is close to the Victoria Tourist Distribution Center. If you are a group member for a day, you can book here.

The room facilities are very modern and very new, especially the rain is more chic. The hotel is very quiet, and it is far away to find a hotel. The corridor is relatively cramped, there is no elevator, and the sound is not very good. Some people in the next room or corridor can sometimes hear and talk, and there will be vibrations in the corridors where people walk. The breakfast is quite satisfactory and it is a cold meal.

Within 10 mins walk of Victoria train station and even closer to Coach station. There is a lift. Despite me booking room with free breakfast no dining room is open. Lucky I had bottle water. The single room was adequate. Clean and warm but old sash windows so traffic noise. I only just managed to close window. I failed to read that there were no kettles etc in room.... very unusual even for budget hotels. Only 1 pillow but too tired to go down to ask for more. Bed seems comfy. Pleasant guy on reception. I checked in quite late and hadn't read the late check in rule that applies after 10pm. My advice if you book this read everything carefully before booking.

Only here for one night.... Did the job sleep wise, have no complaints except the plug socket on the top floor room 9 was hanging off and wasn't working so had to use plugs away from the bed. Bathroom was fine, few bits of wear around the room but for 150 pound in Central London on a concert night we can't really complain. Didn't take advantage of the breakfast so can't comment.

Seriously top quality food- interesting dishes cooked to perfection! My table and I shared all four of the starters which were really impressive. The fattoush salad was crispy, fresh and a great accompaniment to our charred cauliflower which was covered in some heavenly relish. The buratta and hot smoked salmon were seasoned and dressed perfectly. The lamb with broad beans was the star of the show and the trout a very elegant dish. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. (The waiting staff can however be a little inattentive..)
