We booked to stay here for Christmas. We chose it for its close proximity to Greenbelt malls. I booked 3 rooms and asked for the rooms to be adjoining but the best they managed to do was that we were all on the same floor. It was a busy period so this is understandable. There are many other places to stay in the area which are cheaper and if we ever stay in a hotel for Christmas again, we will seek cheaper accommodation because we were hardly in our room. The breakfast had fantastic selection. Staff were lovely and we appreciated that they also employed staff who are hard of hearing–– they opened the door for us and were prepared with a list of places guests might want to go to so that they can direct. Super loved this hotel! Staff are really attentive. Bed is so comfy i did not want to leave. Location is amazing. Literally just have to cross the road to go to Greenbelt. Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Manila. Buffet is good too! The little details on the rooftop Filipino buffet is on point. Makes the experience much better

This hotel gave a tip top services from the staffs with clean n big room. They are very polite and helpful. Verities of breakfast n free flow of non alcohol drinks served at the lounge. Location is very good with many mall surrounding the area. Makati is very safe area to walk around. I'm so happy through out my stay & definitely will choose this hotel again.

The check-in was smooth and fast. The staff was also very polite. The room was big and spacious and came with a plate of fruits and some cakes. They also gave us welcome drinks which allowed us to explore the various bars within the hotel. It is also just right across the Ayala Malls which has plenty of shopping and food options.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed. Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sp**** and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.

The kitchen contains various utensils, there is a coffee maker and a toaster, and there is a sink and dryer. The hotel is old, like the kitchen and sink wood, but the furniture has been renovated, and there is a dining table for four people. The price is high, the bathroom needs cleaning, there are stains, the TV is small and there is no YouTube, smoking is not allowed in most rooms The hotel has a place on the sixth floor that is open and there are no chairs. Some workers lack experience and need more training. They annoy you by hinting at giving them money, but some of them, on the contrary, are very excellent in dealing, and in particular the respected employee Alan in the hotel restaurant treats him professionally.

The staff here are so incredibly kind and accommodating. When we first checked in they told us they upgraded us to a bigger room which was a nice surprise! Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working so we let them know and they upgraded us to an even BIGGER room! A whole presidential suite that had a living room, bathroom with a tub, and a huge bedroom with a smart TV. We had a special stay for sure and the room was clean and well kept. Breakfast is also quite generous with several choices for food. All in all, would come back for the staff and the hotel upkeep. Special shout out to Ms. Karisse, Amylee, Honey, Pauline, Ralph, and Darwin for an unforgettable experience!

Good points: - Location - 5 to 10 mins walk to Greenbelt and fair waiting time for Grab drivers to confirm pick-up. Love the GREENS too! The Legazpi active park was just a refreshing sight in the middle of skyscrapers. - Amenities - Complete amenities for the room, bath, and kitchen. Provided are toiletries, bath towels, kitchen utensils, iron, and an ironing board. - Reservations - Jamie Miranda, the reservations associate is the highlight of this stay. She was efficient, she replies within a reasonable timeframe and with complete details. - Health and Safety - Love that there was information all around on Covid protocols, the housekeeping guys were also very cautious and were wearing PPEs every time they come to the room to troubleshoot. For improvement: - Endor*****ts - information transfer from reservations to the front office, or front office to the front office. 1. For ex. in my booking, I asked for twin beds but was given a room with a double bed, they immediately transferred me to another room with twin beds (but since this room was not the original room, some amenities were missing - had to call for these but no worries because they were quick to respond). 2. When I asked for extra person amenities - reservations confirmed this but housekeeping only did the set up for the bed but not the additional amenities. 3. I asked for an airport transfer and arranged for a different time compared to the original time but the earlier Front Office person was not able to endorse this to the next person on duty so they had to ask me to adjust my schedule just so they can accommodate my arrangement. 4. In the website, there were information that was not consistent with what was on site - there were no welcome amenities as stated in the site, the dining area was not open (there was no prior information anywhere that meals are packed and in-room), laundry service was not available. - Bath had flooding concerns and the laundry line was stuck but this was not too much of an inconvenience. Overall, despite the information concerns, I had a pleasant stay. My parents also loved the property and said that they'd book the same for their next business trip.

Stayed for about half a month, but it was comfortable with ample size for one person. The TV reflects BS and the toilet is with greenhouse cleaning. I didn't encounter cockroaches in this hotel. The staff was kind and some people could speak Japanese, so I was relieved. The guests are Japanese salaried people who think they are almost business trips. There is a Japanese restaurant around, and there is a Japanese food supermarket in front of you across the road. With 2 bottles of water every day, ＋ breakfast was also included, so I received 々. I only made American and Philippine breakfast for saving, but it is a good volume for breakfast. American omelettes did not taste, but if it is ketchup, there is no problem! Adobo was delicious. The first overseas stay was good at this hotel. I will use it when I go to Philippines again.

Big thanks to the team at The Sphere for making my stay super comfortable and flawless. I stayed for 5 nights together with my colleagues for a conference in the same venue. Front desk was very responsive and helpful with the ton of questions that I had. I also booked a massage at the hotel and it was awesome! The hotel has a very nice location in Makati, surrounded by many very good restaurants and cafes, is very quite at night so you can get a good night of sleep, the staff is very friendly and helpful with anything I asked from them! Room is very spacious and most important very clean! Is definitely worth booking with them if planning to stay in the city for few days. About makati is a very safe area and is also easy to get from there to Intramuros or binondo, taxi or grab would be between 300 and 400 peso. You are on a walking distance (15 minutes or less) from Poblacion which is the club and bar area. Highly recommend this place!

I was looking forward to a restful and quiet quarantine and that was what I got at Astoria Greenbelt. Their staff were very accommodating and helpful while practicing the safety protocols. The food was good too - balanced and complete including desserts. Thank you Karla, Rochelle, Ronnie and the three other Front Desk and Housekeeping staff, whose names I was not able to get unfortunately, for making me feel at home.

My partner and I were celebrating our Anniversary and believe me when I tell you that we had the most perfect stay. Citadines Benavidez is a treasure chest— we came in with just normal expectations but we were completely blown away. From the start of our stay up until the very last second before we left, there are no words to describe how incredibly grateful we are for such a lovely stay. The facilities, service, and people are all top-notch. We wish we could thank everyone by name if we could. A very special shout out and big thank you to Sir Garlitos, Ken, Chef Jash, Jerick, Karen, Gean Carlo, Stephanie, and Jerome of Housekeeping (who we weren’t able to meet personally but was the one who prepared our room. Luckily they leave a note inside the room so we are able to express our gratitude for the people working behind the scenes— kudos to the management for this initiative as well). It takes a village of dedicated people to make Citadines Benavidez the great place that it is and we have nothing but respect for each and every one of your Team Members. You all are doing such a fantastic job and it warms our heart to know that Filipino Hospitality is truly alive and well represented in your establishment. P.S. Sorry we didn’t get his name but the Gym/ Pool Attendant was also very helpful! Stayed here multiple times and would love to go back again. You get your money's worth with the service and the size of the room. Each room has a bath tub, if you're into that :) Also love their swimming pool and billiards area, and the privacy the area offers. It's also near Greenbelt (mall) and public parks. Would recommend just improving the breakfast menu (or rather the quality) so guests will get their money's worth more ;) Would also recommend looking into having a heater for the swimming pool so it's not too cold sometimes.

The location of Hotel Celeste is excellent, close to malls, restaurants and shops. The check-in and staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is artistic. I thought the lift and the hallways could have been cleaned better, but the room was very clean. The aircon was surprisingly noisy, to the point I wanted to move to another room, but had already unpacked and ready to collapse after long travel. There was ”no signal” on the TV and, again, I didn't bother to ask help from the staff coz all I wanted to do was relax. But, staff should make sure the TVs are working well, right? Bed was comfortable and I slept reasonably well despite the noisy aircon.

I had such a great time staying here. You can’t ask for a better location. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but you pay for location and you barely stay in your room exploring this beautiful city. Thank you so much to Harly and King at concierge. They were extremely helpful the last few days from helping me coordinate pickup for my laundry service to making sure I was always had a ride to wherever I needed to go. They go the extra mile here. We enjoyed breakfast a few days during our stay, and thank you to Ann and Joy. They hooked us up with mangos. You made our stay so much better. I will always choose this hotel due to the proximity and the service they provide.

Worst hotel experience. I've made a reservation 6 days prior to my stay only to end up losing the slot. Considering that everything was paid in advance, I didn't get the security. It has inconvenienced me big time. The reception offered a room for my stay. And since I was too tired after a long day, I yielded. Only to be dismayed once again, the room was poorly maintained with broken AC, defective phone, NO TV, NO curtains ... Horrible! This isn't what I have paid for. Called reception but even their lines are disconnected. Went straight to the lobby only to be informed that there's no officer in charge and that decisions are made by whoever staff is present. That time, by a room attendant. Unbelievable. As they noticed my extreme displeasure, they transferred me to a small room to cut me some slack. I paid for a bigger room good for two by the way. And oh man, they unapologetically refused to offer any refund. Not suggesting this place at all.

The location is good. There is a waltermart supermarket nearby and convenience stores around the area. It is also at the middle of the NAIA airport and makati CBD which makes it very acccessible and convenient. The room is very spacious. There is also pool, sauna and gym facilities (with additional small charge) and then some basic appliances inside the room. There is also a TV with subscription but no instruction on how to use it (perhaps im not familiar how to operate netflix on a tv) The room is decent, but not as clean as hotels as there were some small cockroaches roaming around. Lastly, a bit puzzled on the check in and checkout process as no info was provided after booking.
