Woolley Grange is the perfect family holiday destination. Ever since having children, we have struggled to find a destination that provides both luxury and all required services for family needs. Typically you have to make a compromise. Woolley Grange changed all of that…offering a luxurious family experience at the highest level. Pre-Holiday: the staff at Woolley Grange were pro-active in ensuring everything was prepared in advance of the holiday. Ensured that the rooms were set up exactly how was required for the children; bed rails, potties, changing mats, nappy bins, non-slip bath mats, baby monitors … everything had been thought of. A specific shout out to Daniel who was excellent. From making the booking to arriving, the stress was taken out of the process. Woolley Grange provide everything which means packing is relatively simple and easy. The only thing you will need to bring is a pram if you wish; everything else is provided. The Setting: Woolley Grange is idyllic - rolling countryside and beautiful grounds. The main garden is set up to provide games for the children. There is also the vegetable garden for the kids to explore. Our toddler loved the morning trip to see the runner ducks after breakfast. Also there are two Wendy houses for kids to play in. The indoor swimming pool was great; facilities are nicely laid out and kid friendly. The outdoor swimming pool wasn’t open during our stay; however, we could see the location was perfect and yet again, the set up was very family friendly. Family Focus: everything is set up to cater for families. During mealtimes the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and provide us with all things baby-related! All mess was cleared up quickly and staff were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure families had what they needed…for example specific food requirements, extra beakers, high chairs etc A nice touch is that for mealtimes, the staff had created name tags for the children, making it easy to know which table had been set up for the particular family. Another very useful complimentary service provided is bottle cleaning. Bears Den was brilliant for childcare; they looked after our 2.5 year old and our 7 month old, with no issues. During the week, our toddler made some lovely friends who all went to Bears Den together. 1 1/2 hours is complimentary, which is a great help for parents who want to relax for a bit during the day. The Spa: really good Spa facilities. One tip would be to book treatments well in advance, as it does get busy. If you leave it to when you arrive to book treatments, there may be limited availability. The Staff: are simply fantastic. The staff are what made this holiday a special one. Specific thanks to: Daniel, Liam, Dylan, Steve and Kay. Also a big thank you to Lisa the Manager who was brilliant and who runs a super efficient and high quality team. Overall, an amazing place and provides families with a special holiday destination in a luxurious e
