Mornington Hotel

Large room- but missing somewhere to sit and eat. For such a large room strange that there is no table and chairs as there is more than enough room. Breakfast is included- in a COVID safe way. Cereal is in small single use pack-the only issue is bread just in a bag. In the current climate I’m not sure if people are happy to rely on some else hygiene standards. Maybe a single muffin sealed in a single use. The locations is on a main road, which I was aware of-but may put some off. Windows are of good quality and stop the noise. The motel is above a bistro and hotel so no need to walk far for dinner. The bistro has a wide range and offer a senior special $20 for 3 courses. The meals are huge and of good quality.
Brooklands of Mornington

The room and bathroom are very large, but the breakfast is simple, but it is still good. It seems that there is a small city swimming pool. It has not passed. The hotel is not far from the place to eat and the supermarket. Mornington Island is very big. It is worth spending a few more. It’s a good day, there is a zoo on the island where you can take a photo of koala.
Sapphire Shores Luxury Retreat
4.6/52 Reviews
We based ourselves at Mount Martha for a brief holiday on the Mornington Peninsula. The accommodation was perfect for a couple with stunning views over Port Phillip Bay and the local area. It is operated as a B&B with the owners living on the property too, however, they are very unobtrusive. The room is provided with breakfast options to have in your room, or you can drive 5 minutes down the road to the local shops for a meal. The pricing was a little on the high side, but appropriate for the area. At the time of our stay, there was construction going on next door and the owners very generously offered the contents of the mini-bar at no charge to compensate for this. Good parking is available on site and the rooms are accessed via the rear of the building. It is a 3 storey structure and the access is via a gravel path up the side. If you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues, this may be a problem for you. We would definitley stay here again as the location, views and room were all great.
Norwood House Motel & Receptions
3.5/545 Reviews
I'm sure many potential holiday makers have driven past Norwood House Receptions and either not noticed it, or considered it a reception venue only. That is their loss. Behind the reception area is a motel block respendant with collonade along the front making an impressive first impression. Don't get me wrong, some maintenance work needs to be done but the bones of the facility are all good, and the new owners know what needs to be done. Inside however the room was excellent, with a king bed and a king single, the most comfortable since my favoured Sheraton Hotel beds. The room was spotless and the price affordable. Special mention must go to the manager, Laurie, who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Important after day surgery at a nearby private hospital. Opt for one of his home cooked breakfasts for a special treat. We randomly chose to stay here due to its convenient location, close to all that Mornington offers. Our random choice turned out to be first prize in the lucky dip. We look forward to returning in coming months and to see the new owners plans develop into fruition.
