Ling_sgWhat we liked:
- We received a friendly welcome from the hotel staff.
- The Family Room was spacious and comfortably accommodated three adults, or would be suitable for two adults and two children.
- The AI-controlled lights, curtains, and TV added a modern and convenient touch to the room.
- We made use of the gym and self-service laundry facilities, which were convenient and well maintained.
- Although the hotel is not located in as lively an area as Wanda, it was about a 1 km leisurely walk to the shopping district. We also managed to enjoy a late-night hotpot dinner at a nearby restaurant.
- The hotel is located in a quieter area, so guests looking for more shopping and dining options within walking distance may prefer staying closer to Wanda.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for comfortable stay.

World B. FlatExcellent stay! Taxis in Xining are incredibly cheap; you can get almost anywhere for under 20 yuan.
The hotel is great. The front desk and restaurant staff are all very professional.
Highly recommended! I've stayed in many hotels, and this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a positive review without being asked.

F SheikhThe rooms are very big and spacious! Really helps one feel relaxed.
The only problem we experienced was that there was a smoke smell in our rooms which was a surprise given we had selected non smoking rooms. The hotel staff made things right though immediately after we complained by switching our rooms.
The rest of our stay was great.
The location is pretty good with a lot of halal eating options nearby.

Guest UserI booked this hotel last minute for a sudden business trip. On the way, I accidentally lost my charger, and I urgently needed to work that evening. I contacted the front desk just to try my luck. The staff quickly brought charging equipment and thoughtfully reminded me to call if I needed anything else. The room was meticulously cleaned, even the corners were spotless, and the bed was soft and quiet. I worked late into the night, and there was hardly any noise in the hallway, so I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around, and the overall atmosphere is warm. A small, unexpected hiccup actually made this stay particularly memorable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time because this hotel is just so heartwarming, and the service is incredibly attentive. Aside from the view outside the window, just this detailed and thoughtful service alone left a great impression. It's excellent value for money and well worth staying.

Guest UserThe hotel is located in the city center. Although there are parking spaces, there are fewer parking spaces. Parking is a bit troublesome. Fortunately, the store manager is very enthusiastic, the command service is very thoughtful, and the car is stopped smoothly. Room hygiene is not bad. But this hotel has three flaws. One is that there is no hand-held shower, and there is no way to do local cleaning. The second is that there is a step between the room and the aisle, and it is easy to trip up at night. The third is that the hot water is not good. The water in the two wash basins is not hot. Finally, the warm water comes, which is not hot water. In addition, the breakfast variety is not delicious, I want a bowl of noodles, the small bowl is very mini, put a little egg crush, two fingernail-sized tomatoes, no taste, very difficult to eat. Soy milk tastes wrong, a little about to feel. Also, when checking in, she said that the room I booked was on the 6th floor, and there was KTV on the 34th floor. It would be noisy. Let me add money to upgrade to the 10th floor. I said no, I slept late, she said that KTV only started at zero, and was forced to add 15 yuan, very speechless. I regretted living in. These problems were the first time I encountered them in Xinjiang for more than 30 days.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation.
The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage.
Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful.
I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again.

Very nice rooms and view, very clean and friendly staff, but the aircon was centrally set and quite hot, and the breakfast was basically egg, toast and a few condiments.

Guest UserMy stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises!
First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip.
Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs.
What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day.
Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money.
In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!
