Nice for our birthday get away. The shower confused me but the staff assisted me. We were upgraded in bed size but it was super hard. I also didn’t like that it’s not central heating and air. Overall a lovely experience would stay again located in a convenient area.

I’m calling it now - I’ll be staying with Rathbone mansions every time I visit NOLA. Communications were seamless, clear and accommodating. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind and generous - especially as we encountered some issues on our check out day (they really saved us from some challenging travel issues). The rooms are very great - for the value, it’s everything you need and the bed is so so comfortable. And the LOCATION - perfectly situated near all of our destinations, and quiet enough help us get a decent nights sleep. Thank you Rathbone for a fantastic experience, we most certainly WILL be back!!

The tv was small but otherwise it is a comfy room. Location is fine and staff was fantastic. Had a shower issue day 1 but they fixed it. Would stay again.

Lovely place that was nicer than expected. The courtyard, pool area are wonderful and quiet for the area. The general area isn't very walkable in terms of amenities unless you're headed to Bourbon street, but otherwise was a very pleasant stay.

Property shows its age. Location amazing. Staff could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond. Fair price, but add ons for anything other than bare bones room.

Check in went smoothly. The noise level in the hall way and people slamming doors was annoying. The floor of the shower sounded like we were going to fall through it. The toilet was loose so in the middle of the night that was jarring.
There is free parking on the street and we used that even though we paid for parking which was down the block and across the street. It was more convenient to park in the street.
The “breakfast” consisted of bananas and tiny mandarin oranges and oatmeal bars.
I know this is an old building but I don’t think we will be staying again. The room was too small.
I’m glad I didn’t pay for a patio since the building next to the hotel was some dilapidated home that should be condemned. Sadly people actually live there.

I was visiting New Orleans for the history and the food. Rathbone was within walking distance of some good restaurants and historical landmarks and tours.
It was truly a treat to stay at such a beautiful and historic place and the stay was patient and friendly. I will definitely try to stay at the Rathbone again next time I visit New Orleans.
