Very nice and comfortable for New York. Close to the subway station and a few good eats nearby. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are also nearby. Friendly check in and out staff. Only surprised they do not provide complimentary bottled water. I recommend.

The floor in the bathroom was wet after taking shower. Highly likely the water pipes under the pergo floor was leaking. The hotel did not replenish bottle of drinking water on the 2nd day even after I called the front desk and asked for 2 bottles.

Once upon a time this was a nice hotel… today the furnishings are quite worn and shabby. It was clean. There were no perfume fragrances in the room or lobby which matters for many with scent allergies. For a night in NYC Theater District it served the purpose well. Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much to the staff who made our stay so enjoyable ❤

We were so pleased to stay at the Best Western even without any reservation. The hotel was clean, comfortable and everyone was kind and professional. The breakfast was delicious and I recommend it. We encountered a very pleasant employee by the name of Angelique. She literally made us feel at home and that’s what every visitor appreciates. The price was affordable especially in this time which is hard to find. So we give this hotel 5 stars which we rarely do.

Stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms, both with two double beds. Me and my oldest son in one room, my MIL and youngest son in the other room. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and location s great—very close to Times Square. We had never been to NYC and had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again! Other reviewers complain of extra charges and problems with refunds—this is because they booked through a 3rd party site (like this one) and did not read the fine print. All NYC accommodations have a bunch of additional taxes and charges and they are the same no matter which hotel you stay in. The difference is that some hotels advertise the daily rate including an estimate of these charges and some don’t. Additionally, agreements may vary when using a 3rd party site (like this one) vs booking through the hotel’s website. Also, it’s NYC—all accommodations are small and compact. Plus, you’re there to see the city, not hang out in a hotel room all day. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t advertise a continental breakfast and why would they when just out the door are dozens of affordable places to grab a bite.

First of all, I have experienced Ace Hotel Portland few years ago, so I chose Ace Hotel this time also. I trust this brand. 1) Location : Subway A,C,G line is very near from the hotel, so It is easy to move to Manhattan. Also, East Brooklyn like Williamsburg is not far from here. We usually used the Lyft for moving to Williamsburg, and it took about 15min. 2) Cleanliness : the hotel room was well-organised and very clean. Room-keepers were very kind and there are no difficult to communicate. 3) Service : Reception and room-keepers and engineers were so kind and very helpful. 4) Facilities : I have used Gym, and it is small but well-organised. Treadmill is good, but Cycle is malfunctioned.

Comfortable beds and pool was open (rare these days!) but staff need to pay closer attention to rooms and amenities - broken gym equipment, ripped towels, previous guests’ clothes overlooked and left in room, etc. Several different instances of negligence, which negatively impacted our stay.

The 11th hotel in the United States alone. In order to see the Phantom of the Broadway Opera, I caught a flight back to China the next day, and returned to NYC one day early, and settled here. The location is near 87 Ave in the black area of Jamaica. It is said that the surrounding security is not good. However, I took the subway more than 11 o'clock in the evening. I didn't see any violation of laws and regulations on the road. The local Chinese advised me to live in Flushing next time.

First was a series of emails telling me the reservation was cancelled for a credit card decline when the reservation clearly said pay at the property. I called when we were on the way and was told the reservation was cancelled. When I protested, he said come anyway. When I got there, he said there was no room, and after 3 rounds back and forth, he rented us the room. The floor in the bathroom was sticky with visible dirt on the floor. It was late and we needed a place to sleep overnight. We got out of there as fast as we could. 1 star for convenient location. 1 for the decent bed. We would NEVER go there again.
