Friendly and helpful staff, five minutes walk from a station near Namba, and a happy a**osphere with the bar downstairs.
But avoid if you don't want noise and light during the night. Also no light for each bed.

I planned to stay for 4 nights but i had to book another night. The guys who run the hostel are so chilled, helpful and friendly and you meet a lot of foreign and also local people. There is only one dormitory for 12 people so its immediatly feels like a small family. So if you traveling alone or as a small group, go there and have an awesome time. Someday i will return!

Stefan and Daniel were great hosts. They are friendly, inviting and building a great culture for travelers. Whether it’s your first time in Osaka or you’re a frequent visitor, Backstage is a great place to make new friends. It’s also a bonus that they serve the best expression martini’s in all of Osaka.
Thank you guys for your hospitality and retrieving my parcel while I was in Kyoto!
