SO/ Paris Hotel

Paris|2.02km from Fresque Hip Hop
I booked my wife to stay at this hotel recently and she loved it. I needed to be in Paris, and decided to try it myself. It is now the place I will always try to stay in Paris. The great thing about this hotel is that it is a perfect trade-off of price/location. In September, we stayed at the Faubourg Sofitel (also Accor) which is about as 'Prime Paris' as you can get. Right next door to the Elysee. For that, you got a hotel which was about 50% more expensive, for 40% less product. SO/ is central, but a bit on the edge, and for me that is worth every cent of the tradeoff. Additionally, the tradeoff places you right next to the river with views of Paris that are sensational. And anyway you are 5 mins on foot to the Places des Voges - this is still beautiful Paris. Other big pluses: - food quality is really high in Bonnie. We went for dinner and breakfast. Both great. Dinner buzzy, and possible the most beautiful breakfast room views imaginable. In summer.... wow. - rooms are extremely high quality fit out. Bed is incredibly comfortable. Just be aware that there is now bath or desk even if a room which could accomodate it - staff are charming and very well trained. - access by car is easy. Very few people will be driving (but I was). Access is super simple, and the valet parking v reasonable (about Eur40) - I didn't use the gym or pool, but they looked amazing by Paris hotel standards - I loved the design concept of the hotel. It is young and modern without being like a W (which I don't like... trying too hard) I strongly recommend. Thank you SO/ Paris.

Hotel Lutetia, Paris

Paris|2.1km from Fresque Hip Hop
We had the complete pleasure of staying at this mind boggingly AMAZING hotel over spring break this year, four nights in total. We are a family of four (17 yr old son 14 yr old daughter), and all of us were completely blown away by the level of attention, committment to excellence, beauty of the facilities and location of this incredible place. It truly is the finest hotel we've ever stayed at, with good reason. From the moment we were met at the airport (transport arranged by the hotel) in a comfortable van equipped with every phone charger you could imagine, water bottles and towels for our faces and hands, to the minute we reluctantly checked out and said our good byes, our family felt known, cared for, and completely, 100% spoiled in a ways we could not have dreamed. Everyone from the concierges and guest services team (shout out to the enthusiastic and emminently cheerful Claire!) to the housekeeping and food people who dropped treats and little touches to make us so excited to come back to the room each day...to the waiters at the Brasserie and Bar Josephine (the best cosmo I've ever had, two nights in a row and fantastic live music) we are already dreaming of returning. Many hotels are having a difficult time finding enough staff, let alone people committed to going above and beyond providing excellent service...this hotel somehow has a lock on great individuals in every department. Other highlights: bathrooms cut out of solid marble. I took five minutes one morning trying imagine what it took to fabricate the sinks and bathtub out of solid stone and then get them into all the rooms. Mind blown. Fantastic water pressure from both the shower and bath. Sheets and pillows and beds that allowed all of us to sleep soundly every night. Both children said it was the best night's sleep they'd ever had away from home. Top of the line electronics and room organization...everything is automatic with lights (we didn't touch a switch in four days, I came home and told my husband what a ”drag” it was to have to actually turn my lights on. lol), and air conditioning/heat/curtains are all controlled from handy control wall panels in each room. Small touches in the closets of things you might have forgotten, lots of drawers and space to unpack and stay organized. The pool and spa is breathtaking, make sure to leave time to enjoy it! It truly is a five star hotel in every element imaginable. I cannot recommend Hotel Lutetia any higher. You will not regret it.

Belambra City - Magendie
3.7/586 Reviews
Very basic equipment (3 beds, 3 bedside tables, 1 chair, 1 TV - hung under the ceiling (French TV channels), 1 built-in wardrobe with broken veneer) in a very small room. Bathroom no more than 1.5 square meters: plastic sink from the 1990s with stains, drain defective, shower suspension defective, toilet seat for 5 EUR), joints yellowed. The free toiletries were soap and shampoo. Everything so far clean, but extremely simple. Beds shorter than 2m. Underground garage very narrow (26 EUR per day was fine). Breakfast room without ventilation (corona concept?). Baguette was counted, only added on request. Location good, much was accessible by foot or bus / metro. Overall, clearly too expensive.
Hôtel Sunny

No breakfast, the room is small but the basic facilities are complete and the facilities are easy to use. This price is normal in Paris. However, the network signal in the room is not good and it is a mistake. Seeing the evaluation said that the Internet signal was good, and gave up another store that was rated bad but cheaper, but the results were disappointing.
Five Boutique Hotel Paris Quartier Latin

We had a wonderful stay at Five Boutique. Our room was small but very comfortable, and the efficient air conditioning was a real godsend. The neighborhood is on the Left Bank, but away from the usual crowd of tourists. Yet everything we wanted to see was only a short bus ride or Metro ride away. We found a wonderful local restaurant, Cafe Lilou, where we went daily for breakfast. (We had not planned for breakfast at the hotel, but might do so if we returned.) The staff was most helpful, particularly the woman who checked us in late on the night of our arrival--our flight was late. After having suffered through heat in the 30's (C) in Munich, we were thrilled with the air conditioning. We were quite comfortable. My one suggestion would be to put a simple chair in the rooms. An ottoman was provided, but it was insufficient to use for sitting at the table in the room. In short, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The hotel is quaint and artistic in nature, but very clean and comfortable.
Hôtel Aladin

We stayed in this building for 3 nights in view of the Fair Maison et Objet. The room was dirty, beds with maquillage and stripped beds, bad bathroom with old and smooth handbags. The breakfast was served on approx. tables with chairs full of sticks. But the top we reached the last night when, when we came back, we found the room in trouble because it was not re-made, with dirty hands and therefore not changed and without a portable thermophone that was perhaps taken away from us. Then you have to forget to live in a very bad location that is managed in an unacceptable way!!
Seven Hotel

The closest underground stations are Port Royal (line B) and Censier Daubenton (line 7). It may be a little far from tourist spots, but it was safe and very comfortable. There is a market called Rue Mouffetard near the 7th line station, so be sure to check it out. We stayed in a slightly larger room with no terrace, so there was plenty of room even when we opened our suitcases. Towels were changed every day, and the shower and washroom had hot water right away. I was able to connect to Wi-Fi and watch YouTube on the TV. The lounge was nice, and I was able to drink coffee and use the microwave. It was a wonderful hotel, thank you very much.
Pepper & Paper Apartments

Comfortable apartment rooms are clean and well equipped, pots, plates, bowls, knives and forks, induction cookers, ovens, oil, salt, vinegar and peppers. Slippers should be brought by yourself. Convenient transportation, a few minutes walk from the subway line 7. But the hotel itself is located in the middle of a pedestrian road and is very quiet at night. A 1.8m double bed, a sofa bed, and a small balcony. Probably equivalent to about 60 square meters in China. Our family of four stayed for five nights and was very comfortable and happy!
