BBaoheshuimianThe entire stay was a terrible and frustrating experience. First, my takeout order arrived at the ground floor at 8:20 PM. After waiting about 25 minutes for it to be delivered to my room, I politely called the front desk. They told me it was being delivered by a robot. I waited another 5 minutes and still didn't receive it, so I called again to inquire. Only then did the front desk actually confirm that the concierge on the ground floor hadn't placed the order in the robot. It took three phone calls from me and 40 minutes for one takeout order to get from the ground floor to my room. Second, my reservation included late check-out, and I confirmed this at check-in. On the day of check-out, the front desk called to say I had already exceeded the check-out time. Only after I reminded them did they bother to check my booking details. In both instances, they offered a verbal 'we are very sorry' – probably knowing that as a guest, I couldn't really do anything about it. But in reality, one problem led to another, and the entire system, from central coordination and communication to the front desk service, completely fell apart. I originally chose The Luxury Collection over Shangri-La. Now, I've learned my lesson and will choose Shangri-La. There are many 'cloud' hotels (referring to high-end hotels) everywhere, but not every one of them is as annoying as The Luxury Collection.

XXingzoudeboboSDHygiene: There were a few minor issues. The mini-fridge and window frames had dust and stains. The bathtub wasn't a big problem since I brought my own disposable liner.
Service: The front desk staff and restaurant service were good. However, everything in the room's mini-bar was chargeable, and there wasn't even complimentary water on the executive floor.
Swimming Pool: It had a hot tub, but the water was a bit cool.
Gym: Quite spacious and not crowded.
Room View: Full floor-to-ceiling windows. One side overlooked the river, and the other faced the Wanda office building. The view was quite expansive.
Location & Transportation: Directly below is Qingxiu Wanda Plaza, and it's about a fifteen-minute walk to the metro station.
Breakfast: A good variety of options. Waffles, pancakes, fruit tarts, and soft buns were all great. The fried pancakes and custom 'Lao You' noodle soup with selected meats were also good. There were also cold cut cheeses, oil tea, tofu pudding, etc., and refills were prompt.
Room Facilities: Upon entering, there's a walk-in closet (with an iron, shoe cabinet, and safe). Then, there's an L-shaped corridor leading to the mini-bar (Liubao tea, Tieguanyin and black tea, instant rice, Oreos, welcome fruit). Welcome fruit was provided. The bathroom area had a bathtub, Kohler fixtures, Italian ACCA KAPPA White Moss toiletries, a rain shower, and a bath mat. The bed was a 'Wanda Vista Bed' with 'Miao Meng' series bedding. There was a shoe-changing stool at the foot of the bed, and a chaise lounge facing the inner river view. There was also a 48-inch TV. The only downside was that the room's air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted by guests.

First off, the location is superb. Situated on Minzu Avenue, this apartment is not only convenient but also offers easy access to many of the city’s main attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore local restaurants, hit up shopping districts, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, you’ll find it all within close proximity. The convenience alone made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free.
Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hosts clearly take pride in ensuring the space is spotless and inviting. The decor is modern yet warm, with touches of local flair that give it a unique charm. The furniture is both stylish and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. My room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed, which ensured I had restful sleep every night.
One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the amenities provided. From high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bottled water, toiletries, and even some local snacks, it was evident that the hosts went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The kitchen area was well-stocked with basic utensils, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. This was a huge plus for me, as it offered a sense of flexibility and added comfort.
The staff were another big highlight of my stay. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Communication was smooth, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even offering recommendations for local spots to visit and eat. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that truly elevated my stay. I genuinely felt like they cared about my experience, which is a rare find these days.
The atmosphere in and around the property was also quite serene, despite its central location. Noise was never an issue, allowing for a peaceful and uninterrupted night’s sleep. Security is clearly a priority as well, with secure access points throughout the building, so I always felt safe and at ease during my stay.

HHRKOOWe booked the hotel again for our return trip after seeing great reviews and no regrets! Near junction of shopping street, very convenient. Can walk to 三街两巷. Service on the ground floor was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was basic local food. Overall stay was pleasant and like the huge space. The opposite park had people singing for both times we were there and they stopped at 10pm sharp. Felt the vibrant city and how the folks enjoy life! The night market behind Uniqlo had people offering good and cheap massage along the street. People on the streets were friendly too. There are a few hotels in the same building so look out for the correct check in lobby.

DDavidWe decided to stay on few more days as we enjoyed our stay here. One thing , though, is that the breakfast has to be more varied and creative as, after staying 4 days, we were so afraid of eating the same old breakfast day after day. The night supper provided is simple yet good enough. Self service laundry is great and the tv is especially large and room is relatively large. Overall we give thumbs up for this hotel.

GGuest UserWe spent awhile here as were securing Vietnam visas. This is hotel is far from the embassy. On the other hand,it was convenient for the public transport,but not the subway. The front desk had no clue about whether trains to Vietnam from Nanning are possible. They are and we took trains first to Hanoi and later to Mui Ne.The front desk all over Vietnam was full of good advice and could speak English well enough. As for China,they wanted to help,but didnt have the answers and once I could see them tapping away at their phones I knew they would most likely find the same lack of information I found on line. The train at Nanning leaves at 6PM for Hanoi. A special machine exists that prints out a card in five languages with carbon copies that tear away at each juncture of the trip. This will be a bad night's sleep as they rouse passengers late at night to stamp out of China and later into Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hanoi you'll probably need a taxi,but at 6:30am the only ones prey on tourists st the train station. Most people stay around the Old Quarter and it's a well provisioned sort of place with a giant lake at the center. Getting to the train station here required me to get a motorcycle,but wasnt far. It was easy to buy onward tickets and we enjoyed the food and people watching around the lake. Hanoi is sweater weather in January,but once you hit southeastern Vietnam the weather is hot and humid with refreshing sea breezes along the coast.

WWan SuwanThe location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building.
The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom.
Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent.
In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

The room I stayed in was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft, and the pillows were just right for a good night’s sleep. The room was equipped with all the usual amenities like a flat-screen TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, and an air conditioning unit that worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious, with a good shower and all the necessary toiletries provided.

The hotel has a small but functional fitness center, which I used a couple of times during my stay. While it’s not a massive gym, it has enough equipment for a decent workout. Given its central location and the comfort of the facilities, Sanzan Hotel offers excellent value for money. The price is very reasonable, especially for a hotel that is so conveniently situated near a metro station.
