Your options at the hotel are dependent on what “level” you have which is dependent on how many nights you stay (?) and what color card you are given to wear around your neck. This information is based on our family having stayed five nights with a gold card. Pros – Nice beach, free lounge chairs and umbrella (gold card), free breach towels, free activities such as the banana boat ride (gold card), and the “glass bottom boat ride (gold card), free mask and snorkel for both adults and kids! The two buffets were nice. We went to the first floor on the first day, the second floor (gold card) buffet on the remaining days for breakfast. Fluffy pancakes, raspberry French toast, eggs benedict which were not offered on the first floor. Great view of the ocean, nice, clean room, and friendly staff. Very helpful. Cons – you have to line up in the morning to book any activity, only two per family unless you get back in line. Well, the Japanese love to line up, for hours, so enjoy the wait. Only two computers for booking and maybe and maybe several hundred rooms at the hotel? Same with the buffet, on both floors. Enjoy the wait! The free beach towels were only offered at the inside pool, but you can take them to the beach. Why so far away from the beach? Finally, the outside pool closes at 5:00 PM! Sunset is not until 7:00 PM! This is ridiculous! And if you swim in the ocean, no life jacket required. If you use a mask, no life jacket required. If you use fins, no life jacket required. However, the moment you use a snorkel, you must wear a life jacket. Not sure how to explain that. What I hate about this hotel is the animals they have locked up in tiny cages. A wallaby in a cage the size of a bathroom. Sea turtles locked up in small pools. Tiny pools. African turtles in small enclosures. Exotic birds in small cages, dolphins locked up, and manta rays locked up. Not fun to see that at all and everyone seems unsympathetic to their plight.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-to 20-minute walking distance of SM Mall of Asia. You can take an Ejeep from PITX and drop off at Coral Way, which is one block before SM Arena, making it easier to commute to the hotel. The reception area is large and has a friendly atmosphere. The hotel personnel is excellent as well; they respond to our inquiries even when they are unable to fulfill our requests. We have a problem with the air conditioner since it occasionally turns off on its own, but the room and bed are large. There aren't enough towels in the bathroom, so we ought to request housekeeping. There can only be two tiny free water bottles each room. The lack of a lifeguard, children's lifevests, and the ability for children to enter the pool alone makes it dangerous. Breakfast is a very Filipino style, with simple ingredients (sinangag, champorado,corned beef, longganisa, eggs,fish fillet, daing and also pancit, ec.) that taste amazing. Looking forward to returning to this hotel.

Everyone was very nice! Everyone always said hello whenever they saw you. We had mangos that we wanted to peel so we asked for a knife and they actually peeled the mangos for us and even boxed it up at no cost. The gym is pretty nice too and security was amazing at helping out my cousin who got a little too tipsy from a night out in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel and also a good location!

I was greeted by hotel Management upon arrival and facilities and policies explained. I took the hotel transportation as I wanted a quick transfer after such a long flight. The car was waiting with a friendly driver and new car. For me not worth saving a few $”s as I wanted to know car was sterilised and covid free. Cost Php800 which I considered fair and acceptable rather than taking risk with airport taxi services. I was provided 3 good meals a day within my room package and offered the use of a good room menu. If required additional toiletries or towels a simple dial of ‘0’ and minutes later a friendly knock at the door. The room was spacious and clean with great views of Manila Bay. Good selection of TV channels to make your day pass quicker. A big thank you to the management and staff at Hotel Jen for making my quarantine stay in these hard times very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to all nationalities as the hotel is willing to listen to guests dietary preferences. Regarding service, the staff at the hotel were professional and smiling. And they actually helped me with a problem right away - paying the driver who brought me to that location. Checking in was fast and I was not required to pay a deposit. They did have porter service, but I was fully capable of moving my bags to my room on the 10th floor. The room was nice and large, and had a great view of the bay by the Mall of Asia, as well as some of the amusement rides and restaurants along the bay. Air conditioning in the room worked pretty well, and it was nice to see the refrigerator. But the television did not work. The bathroom and shower were perfect. The bed was not bad..a little hard, but comfortable. I did not have breakfast, but I did try their dinner menu. I had fish and chips. The menu said fish, chips and mushed peas for a certain price, but in England, ”chips” is the same as French fries. In the hotel, ”chips” were actual potato chips. The fish was nicely done, though, and while I did get the peas, the price they put on my receipt showed that they deducted the cost of them (Translation - the menu price for the dish was 650, but they charged me 500.). Overall, the proximity to the Mall of Asia and other things was great. I had a selection of other restaurants, including Popeye's (which I'll enjoy next time), and there was a convenience store about 50 feet from the hotel. I will stay there again when I am in town!

The room is clean and tidy but small roaches litter around the floor of the bathroom and bed. The attending staff was accommodating but hard to reach when texted hence a call should be made to address our concerns. There are a lot of simple kitchen utensils and tools that weren’t there in spite of their rule to wash all the dishes after its use. Sadly, microwave had to be transferred near the socket of the kitchen in order to use it. The mattress of the bed needs to be replaced as it is not comfy to sleep on. All in all, the room needs general pest control.

We were given a room with a city view instead of a pool view. It's not an issue to us though but just wanted to let you know that you might get whatever is available. Kids enjoyed our stay + the pool area and playground is not crowded. Easy to find location, 15mins walking distance going to mall and seaside. May convenient store din sa baba 👍👍
