Best Hotels in Prior Lake

Stayed for the first time at this hotel to attend a Pat Benatar concert. Check in was a bit confusing. Arrived on a busy Friday afternoon. There appeared to be two check in lines - one for regular guests and one for VIP’s. Regular line was really long with only one staff person assisting. After waiting a while, a person from the VIP line who had just checked in came over and told us we could go in either line. We moved to the shorter line and got checked in almost right away. Signage above the registration desk should be changed so that guests are not confused. We got a room in the Lobby Tower on the 3rd floor which meant we didn’t even need to get on an elevator - just needed to walk down the hall. Hotel room was nice. Appeared to have been renovated. Mattress was just okay - not bad, but not fabulous either. Room had a Keurig coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The only negatives we found: 1) Pool does not open until 9am. Would have loved to have gone for an early swim or jacuzzi before bfast and before small children arrive. 2) Room was missing a make up mirror, which didn’t help my 50+ YO eyes. 3) Coffee in the ****** and hotel cafe was awful - no flavor at all. Would recommend stopping at Caribou in the hotel lobby to get a good cup of coffee. Comments on the ****** There is no smoking allowed in the ******, which is WONDERFUL! Had a hard time getting anything out of the slot machines, however, there is a wide variety of machines to choose from. Played $2 blackjack on Friday night and had a blast (would come back for this reason alone). A big shout out to Adriana and Samuel, two dealers who were so kind and funny and really made our gambling session so much fun.

I liked the hotel very much, the room worked all well. The rooms are in order

The hotel is still new, good for business trips

So disappointed in how we were treated at Holiday Inn. We stayed 3 night's, the morning we left on 8/2 from room 425 I called the front desk and asked that someone bring up a roll of toilet paper. Cassie (?) or who ever answered the phone told that all house keeper where on a break, and someone would be up in 15 min. That did not happen. 2 hours later Ericka came to the room. In the meantime I had gotten dressed and found a maid at the end of the hall. Hilton is next door. Next year when we come back to shop we will be at the Hilton. Room cleaning should come in More than once every 5 day 's.

Good breakfast, close to the outlets, parking lot, big bed, convenient transportation, 20 minutes drive from the commercial and industrial areas, staying here next time.

Hotel is relatively new next to the outlet is very convenient

The room was spacious and clean. A separate area where the desk was placed that anyone can work privately. A small lake 5 mins walk away from the hotel that you can walk or jog. Exercise room was a bit simple and the coffee machine in the room wasn't working. Overall, a good place to stay and happy to go again.
