Location was good 20 mins from downtown St. Louis. The lobby is pretty and was very clean. The pool is nice but I would stay away from the hot tub as it seemed to have a layer of dead skin floating at the top of it. The room itself is really nice and very clean it is a great stay for family or a solo get away the rooms look exactly like they do in the photos.

I'm very happy with the room Kris assigned to me. Most importantly, he provides excellent customer service. I called ahead of time, and Kris went up to make sure my room was cool and that everything was in good working order. I was also pleasantly surprised when he realized I was a Diamond Select Member. As a result, he greeted me with the Diamond Select gift without my asking because I was unaware of this gracious gesture. The gift bag includes water and a snack. I arrived and was greeted promptly by a gentleman at the front desk. After taking care of the incidental hold, he handed me my key cards and directed me to the elevators. My room was large and very clean. It wouldve been helpful to have a guide of channels for the tv and washclothes in the room. The breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, chicken patties, pastries, waffle makers, and 4 types of cereal. If I was more hungry than I had been, the selection could've been better. It is located near a ton of eateries and shopping.

This place has staff that are kind, caring, and very efficient! I felt taken care of so I could enjoy my vacation! They have a nice hot breakfast spread and happy hour dinner type snacks. The pool is really nice. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds!

Breakfast is included in the hotel. The breakfast is traditional Western food. The burger scrambled egg patties are served with yoghurt, coffee and fruit. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the rooms are fully equipped; there is parking lot and wireless network; there is Wal-Mart store next to it. Wait.

I stayed here with my nephews a week ago. There were a lot of events in the city and most rooms were sold out, but this one was in a good central location and I reserved two nights for $600. The hotel and rooms were ”OK”. Clean and comfortable. Not what I was expecting for the price, but I picked it mostly for the location and short driving times for the attractions we were wanting to do over the weekend, so that was fine. After waking up the first morning and taking a shower, I came out to one of my nephews telling me the front desk called to come downstairs because there was a breakin in the parking lot. I went down, and 8 cars had been broken into overnight. The parking lot had no cameras, and there were no leads on a suspect. After talking to the police, insurance, repair shop, etc. I visited the front desk, and though annoyed tried to be friendly. I asked how often this happens. ”Not often”. Is the hotel able to help us out in any way? That resulted in a sneer, and ”We might be able to provide you with a boxed breakfast if you insist”. (The box breakfasts cost guests $5, unless they are platinum-tier rewards members (which I am), and then they are free.) I thanked her, but let her know we had already had our breakfasts, and asked if the manager would be in that day. She let me know he only came in Monday-Friday 9-5, but the hotel policy was that they were not responsible for damages in the parking lot, so contacting him would not do any good. This is the part that still bothers me. I can understand the insurance reasons of not being responsible for actual damages suffered in a parking lot. But I would expect it to be good business to at least pretend to be sympathetic to your customers, and offer some kind of refund/comp and an ”I'm sorry this happened to you during your stay with us” response. If I had stayed at a $50/night hotel I would have understood, but at the price I paid I would expect some sort of basic security and customer service. I've stayed 13 nights in Holiday Inns since March, and have two more reserved for later this month at a different one I've had good experiences with, but I'm rethinking my future stays due to the callous disregard of this one.
