Hotel Metropole is one of the best in all of Italy! My wife and I returned for the 3rd straight year in a row (all the way from San Diego, California, U.S.) because of the incredible beauty of the hotel and manicured landscape, fitness spa for my wife, spectacular location on the Mediterranean Sea, wonderful hotel restaurant, and of course the very friendly hotel management and staff who always treats us as if family and the hotel always accommodates our request for a special nostalgic room during our stay! We highly recommend this beautiful hotel to all travelers to Italy! Grazie mille Hotel Metropole e a presto! Larry & Caroline

The staff were all fantastic and very helpful at dealing with our requests, helping us book taxis etc. The room was clean and pleasant with a nice bathroom and shower, the continental breakfast buffet was great and the views from the pool were great. The booking system for the pool meant you had a guaranteed slot but could only use it once a day. It is a shame that it costs so much money to use the beach, particularly paying $50 for two sunbeds when there's only one of you. I would happily stay again if you could use the private beach for free as a guest.
