Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower

Myeong-dong Seoul|0.31km from Paul Bassett Ferrum Tower
Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong

Myeong-dong Seoul|0.28km from Paul Bassett Ferrum Tower
Right where all the action of Myeong-dong street market is! Staff were helpful. Able to store luggage at the lobby before check-in and after check out. Toilets are equipped with smart bidet (yay! with seat warmer!!!! so nice in cold weather). Room is clean, though looked a lil rundown, but still acceptable, given that we were mostly out. Halal food available at the street market too (The halal lamb skewer was the best I've had)! The strawberries, grapes that tasted like sweet jellly, (its a no wonder SG markets sells them soo expensive!) On weekdays, street market starts at 5pm, on weekend, it starts by afternoon. Apart from street markets, Lotte store is within walking distance for those who wishes to spend on the higher end products. Not to forget, Olive Young is all the rage there, especially during their sale for that Korean glass skincare! Managed to snag some Kpop items for kids back home. The light sticks were way cheaper than in Singapore, and there were so many merch and photocards available. Even the lomo cards are nice! The airport transfer bus is within walking distance from the hotel. The bus will stop at a few hotels within the area to pick up passengers heading along the way or towards airport. We took the airport transfer bus on a weekend to Incheon Airport Terminal 1. It cost 17000 won/per pax. Journey took nearly 2hrs, considering the weekend traffic at noon. Can't wait to visit again!

The location was very good as it was close to the city of Myeongdong and Euljiro Station. The check-in is late at 22:00, and there are few amenities, but considering the price and location, I was very satisfied.

I had a day time layover (5am-10pm) so I reserved the room the day before my layover even though I’ll be checking in on my check out day. I kept trying for a late check out and was willing to pay for it just for some extra comfort for my family and I to rest after our red eye flight but was denied because they needed to clean the room although it wasn’t even occupied as I checked that it was still available online for booking. I did get until 12pm instead of 11am but I also checked in at 8am so only having 4 hours of the room. Besides this, the room was clean and the location is great.

The hotel is very close to the duty-free shop, and the rooms are okay, but there is no elevator. Generally, they live on the fourth or fifth floor. It is really tiring to climb the building with things, but the boss will help me to see it. pretty good!

The hotel is located at the heart of Myeongdong yet away from the noise. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport shuttle 6701 and alight at the Lotte Hotel, after which we crossed a road , you will see Starbucks and a sculpture . The hotel is just situated behind. It is close to Euljiro subway, the green line and slightly further (8 min) to Myeongdong station (blue). Hotel staff were ever polite and pleasant and never fails to greet us. Room was cleaned very well daily and housekeeping prompt in response. A nice touch by the hotel as they provide a humidifier for a cold and dry weather. Would definitely recommend this place to others!!

Blowing the location of this hostel, the No. 1 line bell tower 4 exits for three or two minutes, and it is convenient to transfer to other lines. To Myeong-dong, Insa-dong can walk, next to Cheonggyecheon, young street downstairs, all the streets and alleys are eaten, convenience stores, coffee shops are also downstairs. The contents of the publicity map of the hostel are true. The security room in the downstairs, the hotel door locks in and out, the room password locks in and out, and each person has a small secret box to put it expensive. The size of the quadruple room is still ok, there is a separate toilet bathroom, it is awesome, and the high-quality roommates are still very good, suitable for friends who are poor. The front desk service was very kind. It is possible that the position of my bed plug is loose, so the conversion plug I used was not used. I rented a certain style at the front desk and finally plugged it in. The little brother at the front desk ran two times to find the right one. P.s. Korea accommodation check in no deposit required! The best!

This is worth my money. The amenities provided were better than your average hotel. Except for iron and ironing board not present(but can request from recep) Stayed for 5 nights. there are options for smoking room. The shower facilities are great, with the hot water functioning well. The toilet has an automatic system so one might have to figure out which button to flush. The only cons is that is the next to the eateries. One of the restaurant is a Pork Cutlet resto, so if you are sensitive to smoke smell, it might not be ideal. Best thing, it is walking distance to THREE metro station, and a bus stop just 1min walk away. Myeondong and Insa-dong market are great for night stroll( though take note of closing hours)
