carrascooHonestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city.
My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard.
It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time.
I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference:
1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting.
2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive.
Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The entire team is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Everyone made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The hotel is very clean, well-organized, and the overall service exceeded my expectations.
I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my stay. I especially appreciate their flexibility with late check-out. They were very accommodating, which made my departure much less stressful and allowed me to relax until the very end of my stay.
Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Guest UserThe staff were incredibly warm, patient, and their service was impeccable. The hotel environment is fantastic, featuring a gym, cafe, laundry area, and dining space. I booked the Ximei Lanjing Hotel specifically to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. It's very close to Beijing West Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient, and the location is easy to find. The front desk lady even upgraded my room and helped me keep the surprise birthday plan under wraps – I'm so grateful to them! I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. I've attached photos of the room decorations; the color scheme in the room is very sophisticated and perfect for a birthday setup.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for transit: it’s only a 10-minute drive to Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3, and around 20 minutes to Terminal 2. The smooth ride from the airport let me rest quickly after a long flight, completely easing my travel fatigue.
From coordinating the airport pick-up to checking in, Mr. Hou, the Hotel butler, provided meticulous, attentive service. He followed up on my stay throughout and was always responsive to my requests, making my layover trip feel completely at ease.
The huge immersive aquarium in the hotel lobby is the absolute highlight! The massive tank is home to a wide variety of tropical fish from different sea areas, and you can watch them up close. This one-of-a-kind experience is a rare treat for an airport-area hotel, and stopping to admire it during my waiting time instantly soothed my travel tiredness.
Additionally, the hotel’s 24-hour self-service vending machines are extremely thoughtful, stocked with daily necessities, snacks and food. I could grab whatever I needed at any time, whether arriving late at night or before heading to the airport, with no extra trips needed—total convenience!

SChakrabortyMO hotels are usually very well located and this one is no exception. It is like an oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of Wangfujing and I looked forward to my return to the quiet and solitude of the hotel after suffering the torture of accompanying my wife to numerous shopping malls nearby. We have travelled extensively all over the world and are familiar with well known hotels. I was expecting top notch service with warm hospitality and the hotel certainly lived up to the expectations. All the staff were warm, polite and helpful. Some are more fluent in English than others, but it was not an issue at all. Check in/check out was smooth. Stena at the front desk was very efficient and courteous. Osgood with his pins was also very friendly and saved me the trouble of finding a post office. The dining room staff spoke excellent English and I felt great when one lady said my pronunciation of 谢谢 was perfect. They really know how to make the guests feel happy ! Breakfast buffet had a good mix. After three weeks of travelling in China eating steamed buns, fried rice and noodles for breakfast I was desperate for some proper continental breakfast and the hotel definitely delivered. One of the best almond croissants that I have ever eaten. The egg benedict was perfect. My small gripe with the Avo toast is that I am used to having the Avo mashed and spread on the bread with a bit of lemon/salt and not served just as slices on bread. No big deal of course.
Our room did have a partial view of the forbidden city, you get better view from their terrace. I regret that I did not have time to enjoy the pool. Lovely big bathroom , his and hers basins and a separate WC with one of those Toto modern toilets with many buttons, even separate settings for two users ! Very good sound proofing.
One small thing that impressed me was that I had left several cables plugged to the wall socket in the morning. On my return I saw house keeping has neatly tidied up all the cables and even used a cable tie to make them look very organised !
This is not a huge hotel and that makes the experience more personal. It does not have a grand lobby and you may be disappointed that the entrance is common with a shopping mall. But as soon as you step out of the lift it oozes old world charm and sense of peace and solitude. Incidentally my daughter was staying at the MO in Barcelona at the same time and told us Bad Bunny was staying there and it has turned into a circus. Thankfully no celebrities and their fans disturbed our peace.
Have a look at the room key card. It is designed by Timmy Yip, who was the art director of one my my most favourite films Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I appreciated the gifts at the time of leaving.
My one little comment is that I found the pillows a bit on the soft side. Some hotels have a pillow menu where the guests can choose pillows with different level of firmness. Maybe the management can look into that.
Overall a very satisfying stay and I'd certainly consider staying here if I return to Beijing.

YihejiangxingThe Pan Pacific Beijing's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right in the heart of Xidan, and you can walk to Financial Street, which made my business trip incredibly efficient. I got lucky this time and stayed on a high floor. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the Forbidden City and Beihai's White Pagoda. Watching the city skyline at sunset made my business trip feel much less tiring. The hotel's modern and minimalist design is really appealing, and the facilities are well-maintained. To have such an experience in a core area of Beijing, the value for money is exceptional.

Huge thanks and kudos to the housekeeping auntie! To the hotel management: please recognize and reward her. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. On the day we checked in, I had my own ceramic bowl, and the auntie mistakenly thought it was from hotel room service and took it when cleaning. When we came back from sightseeing that evening, I contacted the front desk, and the auntie quickly found the bowl in the kitchen, washed it clean, and brought it back to us. Her efficiency and attitude were exceptional, and she really contributed to our wonderful trip. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Beijing.

Guest UserOur family's stay at the Beijing Yanjing Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, all the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and efficient.
The hotel's location is superb, right next to Chang'an Avenue, and very close to Tiananmen Square, Financial Street, and the Xidan commercial area. It's super convenient whether you're sightseeing or on a business trip. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained; the indoor pool is crystal clear, and the gym is well-equipped – perfect for relaxing in your downtime.
The room was spacious and tidy, with excellent natural light. The mattress was soft and supportive, ensuring a stress-free night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the large showerhead offered a fantastic experience, showing the high quality of service. Standing by the window, you could overlook the magnificent Chang'an Avenue, with a wide-open view. The attention to detail made us feel incredibly comfortable. The restaurant offered a rich variety of breakfast options, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the food was delicious. The overall service upheld the 'Tangla Hotel Elegance' standard, being meticulous and thoughtful. This place offers incredible value for money. Next time we're in Beijing, we will definitely choose to stay here again!

Guest UserEven though this hotel is ten years old, I was worried it might be run down. I originally booked the Rocks Hotel, but was put off by the outdated facilities, dirty carpets, and incredibly rude service! I chose Hilton for its reputation and reliability. When I booked, I left a few requests, not really expecting them to be noticed, but when I arrived, the front desk proactively addressed and fulfilled every single one. Every staff member at the hotel genuinely focuses on the guests, offering smiles and greetings. Their service mindset is excellent. I particularly want to commend the housekeeping staff on my floor and the cleaning auntie on the first floor – they are incredibly proactive, have a great attitude, and are very dedicated.
However, I do think the doormen could be more proactive. When I checked in, it was pouring rain! My friend and I both had our hands full with bags and were sitting in the back seat, but no doorman offered an umbrella or even opened the car door. After struggling up the steps, the revolving door in front of me was broken. I stood there awkwardly for about 30 seconds, trying to figure it out, before a staff member finally noticed me and directed me to the side entrance.
The room itself was good, and I slept really well because I was so exhausted. I have to say, it was incredibly quiet; no noise woke me up at all. A special thanks to Manager Ding Yuzhu, who has a lovely smile and proactively asked about my experience. I'll definitely contact you for my next visit. Thank you everyone, and thank you, Hilton.

Guest UserI started staying at the Four Seasons about seven or eight years ago, purely by chance. Since then, whenever I go to Beijing, unless I'm specifically looking to try a different hotel, I usually choose the Four Seasons. The lotus flowers along the Liangma River are in bloom and look beautiful. I appreciate the upgrade; the room was so comfortable that even if I paid a bit more, it still felt like a great deal. The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, but all the Four Seasons restaurants are generally excellent. I'll probably choose the Four Seasons again the next time I'm in Beijing.
