Hilton has good facilities. The location is on Kurfürstendamm, which is a convenient choice for shopping and taking a ride. There are fitness and sauna facilities. The breakfast was good, not rich but enough. What I like most is that they can choose different tea leaves by themselves, and there are tea compartments, which is very nice.

I stayed only two nights at a&o Berlin Mitte with Contiki, the stay was comfortable. The four-share rooms were very small and a bit tricky to fit our four suitcases. We also had a run-in with staff at the front desk. For a four-share room, we only got two keys. When a member of our group asked for a spare key, she was denied then given a temporary card and was rudely told to bring it right back - but how could she get back into the room to bring it back??? Others in our tour had the same experience. Besides that, the breakfast was great.

This is not my first time staying at A&O Berlin. I have been there prior and immediately after the pandemics too. During this time, the quality of the service has been steady and a good one. The staff rather amicable and prompt to help with any issue you may have. Sometimes things do not work as expected (coffee machine, contactless purchases) but they will guarantee your stay is a smooth one. Breakfast is abundant and provide several options. I only wish the coffee could be better, but all in all is not bad. Also, maybe rooms could do with a bit of cheering up colour, besides the ones provided by the curtains. What I like the most about this hostel is the consistency with the chain principles and the fact that you will find all you need for a good stay, even tissues!

If your on a holiday and need a cenral place close to public transport, but still a quiet night, it's a good place. If you're looking for a mid#town party area (sleepless nights) you're off mark here, but the price of the accom may be interesting still. if you're on business and need to get up early, you won't find sleep easily because the hotel attracts customers keen on running, shouting and being noisy in general. If you look for CoVid security, the hotel has nice rules but nobidy gives a damn and nothing is enforced. If you have a room at 6th floor, to avoid the stuffed lifts is an inconvenient choice. In general. The place is clean and well maintained, tyhe crew is helpfulp. The immidiate neighbourhood is quiet but boring. If the guest next door snores you've rotten luck, if he doen;t, it's a good night. Given the price, one could do worse.

Generally an okay experience. Was initially rather apprehensive about staying here given the bad reviews but the overall experience was not bad and a value for money. The room I stayed in was clean, however some toilets had a strong pee smell to it but this was still okay since I could walk slightly further to use cleaner toilets. I could also see cleaners very regularly every morning working to clean the place, so overall cleanliness is acceptable but very much dependent on your hostel mates. Location was pretty far away from the city centre, however, it was still v accessible to public transportation so that was good. I previously read some reviews about the noise at night at the hostel coming from outside. I found this to be true on some of the nights there as the hostel is right next to a campground where people parked their cars at. They would occasionally blast loud music at night but this didn't bother me too much as I'm a heavy sleeper. The most unnerving thing about the hostel was that overall it would feel unsafe for solo female travellers. I stayed in a private room so I had a rather enjoyable experience. However, I found there to be large groups of older men hanging around the corridors and smoking near the gates late at night. They would also occasionally walk out of the toilets and into the shared corridors in just their underwear so it was quite uncomfortable especially when I had to walk past them. Receptionists were all generally very helpful who even unlocked the laundry room slightly earlier for us to use in the morning. However, we had a bad experience with one receptionist who was rather curt,dismissive and unhelpful. Overall an acceptable stay for the price we paid. However, I would not recommend for long stays ( more than a week) and if u are a solo female traveller.

The hotel facilities and sanitary environment are good. The room is a little small, but it's enough. I went in advance and could store my luggage for free. After checking out, I stored my luggage for an extra half day for 1 euro. Breakfast is not recommended. There are only a few kinds of particularly hard bread and normal coffee. Transportation is 6 or 7 minutes away from Alexanderplatz and close to the train station. Overall recommended.

A cozy hostel with a hidden gem inside. The only Circus that brews is a really cool way to interest new guests. If I'll explain The Circus Hostel from the underground to the top, I appreciate the spacy luggage room for free. I also like the small bar under the ground that offered us a free beer sample which tastes really great. And I'm sayin it as a Czech. On the ground, there's a cute cafe, friendly and kind crew ready for everything that could happen and tram station right before the hostel entrance. Higher levels are just full of modern rooms and shared toilets and showers. You may miss the fridge and towels but reception offers both to borrow. And the bonus that i wanna mention is that there are many good stores, cafes and restaurants around Circus and metro station nearby.

Frustrating check-in at half past one: the rooms are only available from 3 p.m. I mean, if you arrive earlier, you have to book 15 euros in advance. But at least the tone is friendly and you can leave your bag without any additional costs. The elevator - apparently never-ending. Only one worked before, so we wait to see whether the current ”repair” promises to improve things. We leave without the slightest smile, everything was paid for. But what does being a guest mean these days?

I booked a room for 1 person. Room was very clean and warm with Tv. In breakfast area I could find everything what I need. Pancakes were really tasty :)

I moved from another cheaper hotel in Berlin, because this hotel clearly states that they have Air Conditioning. They do NOT. They have an evaporative cooling system that is outdated and does NOT work at all. In response to complaints they just say 'we are eco friendly'. That's fine - but don't say you have AC. If I pay 220 Euros for a night in a hotel BECAUSE it is hot and I want AC, it better have AC. Read through the reviews....the manage is more concerned that people give them an accurate rating (manager often replies with 'it's a pity you only gave us 1 star'. How bout it's a pity I couldn't sleep because it was so bloddy hot in my room?! How bout your it's a pity your website description is wrong. Even on the night in question, one of the staff came to the room and verified that even the horrible 'cooling system' wasn't working. The manager, Sasha Braunstein, clearly doesn't get it and doesn't care. It was a miserable stay and they literally have the gall to sanctimoniously claim they are just being Environmentally friendly. If your website says you have AC, you better have it. What an outrage. The earth is warming....get a clue, people want AC. I could camp in a park and it would be cooler than the hot, humid, stuffy room at the Pentahotel.
