Good location with easy access to everything. However, the hotel was hard to find on the first day as it has no reception, which is part of its concept.
Unfortunately, construction work was ongoing in the entrance and corridors throughout our stay, with no prior notice, apology, or compensation.
Room amenities were minimal—only 2 small bottle of water for the first day and no slippers provided.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and highly recommend it. The room was nice and modern with thoughtful extra touches. Service was excellent, always friendly and helpful. They handled special requests efficiently and gracefully, making the extra effort with a smile on several occasions. Only ate breakfast but the coffee was excellent and the breakfast was really nice with waited service with some healthy options. The neighborhood was charming, felt very safe and had some nice local restaurants to choose from.

The overall consideration is quite good. There is a bus in front of the door. There is a central workshop in the 10 minute walk. There are subways in various places. There are 2 convenience stores around the hotel, basic steaks, vegetables and fruits can be bought, so you can cook your own. If you stay for a few days, it is recommended to buy a transportation card, the hotel is available for sale, there are different days of choice. In fact, it is not far from the surrounding attractions, but there are transportation cards to choose different transportation. It is recommended that the hotel improve the quality of the pan and feel unheated, basically cooked in a microwave oven. I will choose this hotel next time.

Great hotel at a reasonable price, highly recommend:
+ Excellent location right next to the metro, direct line to the airport (just over 30 minutes, for a ridiculous 4.40 euros)
+ A large number of attractions within walking distance or a short metro ride
+ A sufficient number of restaurants and cafes within walking distance
+ Spacious modern rooms
+ Comfortable bed and good linens
+ High-quality room cleaning
+ Excellent breakfasts with a large selection (at the level of quality German hotels of a higher 5* category)
+ Efficient staff work, fast check-in and check-out
A few minor disadvantages:
- We stayed in 7 different hotels this trip, and for some reason only this hotel did not have free water in the room
- At times unstable internet quality
- No brush in the toilet

The suite is very large, with high ceilings and an old-fashioned style. The hotel is old, but the facilities are not old. There is also a balcony and kitchen facilities are fully equipped, which is suitable for family travel. The front desk service is very polite. Berlin prices have really skyrocketed, but the hotel price is also okay.

UUhrmannMy colleague and I had pre-booked rooms with King-size beds, but we were given rooms with narrow Twin beds, which were uncomfortable. We were told that, unfortunately, there were no King rooms available, although judging by the light coming from the windows, half of the rooms appeared to be empty.
The worst part was that the two of us were given rooms at the very end of the hallway on the ground floor, directly above the parking exit. It was unbearably loud starting at 5 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, right above this parking exit, there was a flag with the hotel logo that was poorly secured, and it squeaked all night in the wind. From 5 a.m., deliveries began through the parking area, with carts rolling back and forth, creating an unbearable rumble and noise that echoed through the rooms.
This is a very clean hotel with nice complimentary amenities like a restocked minibar, and overall it’s a good property. However, the way we were treated — being given the worst possible rooms — ruined the entire experience for us.

The room is spacious but my room has a slanted ceiling, this may be because of the building impacting certain rooms but I do not like this type of construction as it makes the room feels stuffy

GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!

I think the location is perfect. Not too busy area as it is 8 min walk away from Kurfürstendamm but still central. There are a lot of good restaurants near by and you can just walk 10 min to the Bus stop pf the 100 bus which will take you wherever you want.
Service:
Great and friendly service. The man at the reception greeted us with a warm smile and the check in was super smooth. We even asked for slippers and got it right away. Perfect.
Cleanliness
The stone floor had some stains but nothing major or „dirty“ in any way. Room service was really good and in general the hotel was super clean and hygienic, especially in the spa area.
Amenities
The Sauna and pool were super clean and a great place to relax. The breakfast was a dream from waffles over bread to hot sausages the options were almost endless.

Service at reception
The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card.
Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies.
The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place.
I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better.

Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters.
Breakfast
For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb.
Complementary water
It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night.

Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions.
Summary
Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

CComer the roamerAs soon as w you walk in, you know this accommodation has a vibe! The luggage super cool, easy to operate, and free! They even have showers if somebody strolls up stinky before they can check-in. The room was good and the shared bathroom was better than I expected to be honest. The cafe attached had a great meal called ‘The Local’. They even had a guide where to watch matches since I was in town for the 2025 European cup! The only downside was my window faced the courtyard where they sort everyone’s beer bottles in the morning from the night before.

JJaslmjOne of the best hotels of our entire Europe trip. The hotel is conveniently situated right outside of the S/U-bahn station, Berlin Friedrichstrasse station. There are two entrances for the hotel and both look very grand, the lobby is nicely decorated and they even prepared tea and a light snack (cake/cookies) for guests while we chill at the lobby. Check-in was pleasant and the hotel staffs were all extremely polite and cheerful, really make our day.
We were assigned a room at level 4 with a very nice city view, the room is clean, spacious and it is really contemporary and modern, with a huge mirror for your daily OOTD shots.
The breakfast was really great, the spread was huge and it provides a many selections to cater to different needs. I extremely love their pancake making machine which makes fresh pancakes within 30sec. The staffs were attentive to clear off the plates and helpful.
Overall, it was a perfect stay and we will definitely visit NH Berlin again!

cons: the room looked like it was unfinished because the lights werent installed properly and there were random holes in the walls etc but i didnt really care. the rooms did lack storage like shelves, you get a shampoo/body wash. you can request stuff like hairdryer and more from reception. for housekeeping you do have to ask at reception as well which is a bit of a hassle but its alright.

The hotel rooms, like other budget hotels in Europe, are relatively small. But it was quite clean and tidy, and it was a bit quiet. I had a really good sleep during those few days.
What is not so good is the hotel breakfast. It has basically not been changed in 11 days. It is always the same, which makes people sad.
