5-Star Hotels in Berlin

The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin ⭐ 9/10 💰 Value for money: 10/10 A refined luxury hotel in an exceptional Potsdamer Platz location. The rooms are generously sized at approximately 40 sqm, perfectly proportioned, with an interior executed to near perfection. The atmosphere is calm and composed, and the service is polished, discreet, and highly professional. Luxury hospitality is ultimately remembered less by rules than by judgment and generosity. When pricing or policies feel disproportionate, the moment lingers longer than the gesture itself—and guests inevitably carry that memory forward. A more flexible approach would have elevated an otherwise outstanding experience. An exceptional hotel overall, offering remarkable value within its category.

I requested a high-floor room, and the hotel thankfully accommodated. The room was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view – absolutely perfect, and the service deserves a special mention. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, Sony Center, and Potsdamer Platz. Right in front of the hotel, there's also a section of the Berlin Wall and the ruins of Hotel Esplanade, which survived the war. From my floor, I had easy access to the gym, sauna, and pool. The sauna is a dry sauna, and the pool is quite nice.

God lokation but, you need transport if you don't want to walk 7 km to inner city  Hotel is nice and clean  If your with car, finding carpark is not easy, ( just use the car parking beside the hotel) Great breakfast  Clean rooms  Will recommend also for families indeed.

Wonderful hotel with great rooms, very stylish and good facilities. The breakfast is great, in the evening there is a DJ in the courtyard and the service and attentiveness of the staff is very good. The Stue is fully recommended and we would be happy to come back next time we are in Berlin.

The hotel is stylish and beautiful and owns a very impressive restaurant. unfortunately the breakfast is overpriced. The selection is small and not appropriate for the high price. Unfortunately, the quality of the breakfast was not as high as the price would justify. The cheese, salmon, sauces and co. were already dried out and obviously from the day before. I booked this hotel as a Hyatt member assuming it belongs to the World of Hyatt. At arrival I was told that only the advertising is done via the website and no Hyatt benefits can be applied.

The bed in this room category was incredibly soft. I suspect it's quite old, as I just sank into it completely, offering absolutely no proper support. I had a terribly uncomfortable night and barely slept at all. I had expected the bedding to be similar to the Marriott in Copenhagen, but this particular bed at the German Marriott was surprisingly uncomfortable. It was nowhere near as comfortable as the twin room I stayed in the following day.

The hotel is surrounded by excellent amenities. It's a 10-minute walk to the zoo, and there are bus and subway stops right outside. The breakfast spread is generous, and both the gym and swimming facilities are well-equipped and complete. The front desk staff are welcoming and provide excellent customer service.

The hotel didn't provide complimentary bottled water. The Hilton Berlin's mini-bar prices are ridiculously exorbitant and completely unreasonable, making for a terrible experience. There was no clear price list in the room, and a standard bottle of mineral water cost 7 Euros, while the exact same bottle is only 2 Euros at an outside supermarket – more than triple the price. This is pure price gouging. We weren't informed about these charges at all during our stay, only to be hit with them at check-out, which was incredibly off-putting. As an international chain, using such opaque and unreasonable high prices to rip off guests is completely beneath the Hilton brand standard. I strongly advise against staying here.

Despite the great location, I cannot recommend this hotel. It falls far short of InterContinental’s five-star standards. My room was poorly maintained, with uncomfortable, gritty bedding and lackluster housekeeping that failed to clean basic items like a used tea cup or tidy the room while I was out. It felt more like a two-star establishment than a luxury hotel. I am extremely disappointed with the service and strongly urge management to take immediate action.

Good! Must be praised! With family members, four people, booked a two-bedroom, one-room family room, only taxed 700 yuan, went to Germany for four days! This hotel in Berlin is the best! The traffic is so convenient, the environment is good ~ the key is that the price is so good! Push!
