I love the hotel! My stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The room and toilet was very clean, with daily housekeeping service, and the bed was very comfy. Check in and check out was quick. Room service breakfast was very scrumptious at a very responsible price. Certainly a 5-star experience. I will definitely be back the next time I’m ever in Taipei! Only downside is that it is located 10 mins walk away from Ximen station, it is, however, near Xiaonanmen station which is 5 minutes away. Not a dealbreaker for me though. You can always Uber from Ximen to the hotel at around 100NTD :)

When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

Palais de Chine was a very grand hotel and the atmosphere made us feel like we were in a castle. The room was excellent with a bathtub in the shape of a water droplet and a very beach resort-like shower. The minibar drinks were all free so we could drink all of them to our heart’s content as it would be refilled the next day. Suggest to replace alcohol drinks to more soft drinks or ********* tea drink. The housekeepers were friendly and housekeeping was fast. The coffee and tea were good and the TV could be broadcasted and there were many interesting channels. The location was good and near MRT stations to get to other places easily. The WiFi was excellent and fast and the beds were big and comfy. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Palais de Chine and I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was generally clean but mould stains in toilet on the floor and on the rubber shower mat were pretty off putting. Bedside tables were also quite badly chipped. Good local breakfast spots nearby, and conveniently located right next to Wanhua station. Gym has no weights, so wouldn’t really call it a gym.

Hotel is very conveniently located beside the Taipei Main station. Exit M3 and turn left and hotel is just a few steps ahead. This is my 2nd time stay at the hotel. Room is not spacious but very clean with windows. Bath tub has sliding door instead of the usual shower screen which is nice. Complimentary welcome coffee/drink coupons which is redeemable at cafe beside the front desk. From hotel exit, turn left and there’s a small lane which has an eatery that sells dumpling which is very juicy and tasty. Enjoyed the stay and will stay again in future.

Located near the MRT Ximen Station Exit 6. The staff were very professional and accommodating. Rooms are clean everyday. There is a mini pantry at the lobby. So reheating food and water is not a problem. The night market is also near the area, a few steps and you are already there. The hotel is a decent one for the tight budget travelers. We are a family of 3 and they provided our needs during our 4 days stay. Highly recommended!

This is the third time I have stayed at Jiamei, and the quality of service is still maintained. The room is large, the bed is very comfortable to sleep, and the pillows are not hard,-I feel that it is dawn, only-a small episode. It will be repaired in half an hour without affecting the accommodation. Breakfast-it is simple, but there are porridge, green vegetables, omelette, bread milk, coffee, fruit, so that you can eat very full, feel satisfied, I highly recommend Jiamei, and I will go to stay again when I have the opportunity.

A hotel that has been open for less than two years is a very low-key hotel. On the contrary, it is the hotel closest to Yongkang Street and Lishui Street in Taipei's food street. The location is just above Exit 8 of MRT Dongmen Station. After the Xinyi Line opened last year, it has a very superior location. Why do many Taipei people do not know that it exists, because it is on the upper floor of the East Gate Post Office, and the door is on the cross street next to the post office, so most people are walking on Xinyi Road and will not pay attention to it, but it is just opposite the intersection of Xinyi Road, Lishui Street. The adjacent Yongkang Street is 100 meters away. The reception hall is on the 3rd floor and the 4-12th floors are all guest rooms. There is a lift, but because the size of the hotel is not large, it generally does not need to wait too long. We stayed here for 4 nights. Before commenting on the hotel, we wanted to share some of our own experiences with those who travelled to this hotel on their own. We arrived at the airport at about 5pm and went to the Flying Dog Bus counter as suggested by the Forum members. Based on the information we found, the bus was supposed to take us to the hotel or close enough to the hotel. But instead, we were told they would not take us to the hotel door until after six o'clock. Before 6 o'clock, they will only put guests on the designated bus route and then take a taxi to the location they are going to. In short, if you arrive at the airport before 5:30, then it is recommended to take the Guoguang bus. After the next time at the terminal (Taipei Central Station), take the MRT to Ximending. Pros: -The location is good. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the nearest MRT Ximending Station. -All rooms have free Internet access. Try using the wireless connection. If you don't have a network cable yourself, you can borrow one from the front desk. - Basic supplies: hairdryer, kettle, free bottled water and tea - very clean Cons - hotel entrance hidden in a narrow alley and easy to miss. Just look for the World Express pastry shop on the main road. There are huge neon lights on the top side of the hotel, which is useful when looking for it from a distance. - Shower and bathtub are integrated. As a business hotel, we expect them to install a shower curtain, but maybe they think it will cost too much. So you can imagine the mess after each shower. -No useful maps available. Those maps that could be used only marked the subway line, and there was no address information or anything like that. - the lighting in the room was poor. It was too dark for ladies who wanted to make up. -Close to a government building, so if you want to walk around naked in the room, it is recommended to close the curtains. -The front desk clerk doesn't seem to know much about the attractions. -Breakfast coupons are issued at the front desk every morning, dining at the fast food restaurant on the main road, just at the exit of the narrow alley. There are about four or five packages to choose from, but the two must be the same (for both of us)! That is so stupid! The food is not good either.

Good location close to Lin-sen road alley gourmet and Taipei Main Station around 8 mins by walks, with easy access to MRT Airport Line.

I chose the hotel due to its location. It is across the road from the museum, has a convenience store close by, plenty of food places, and a Metro station is just 200m away with the main railway station just 400m away. My room had wifi/internet and a bar fridge. I stayed here twice and was mostly satisfied. Better rooms are on the front of the building. The back rooms have no view and sound carries between them via a light well. English speaking by staff is mixed. They do have a left luggage facility if you arrive early or are departing late. Not all staff understand such requests.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Via Hotel Taipei Station. The hotel is really conveniently located, and we used it as a base to walk to lots of the main sites and the ximending area. The room was spotlessly clean, and comes with a little neck massager as part of the room. They have lots of free snacks available 24/7, and as others have written, they have a soft-serve ice cream machine available as well. We also enjoyed the 2 big massage chairs in the basement game room area. We also appreciated the pocket wifi that was available for rental from the front desk at a very reasonable rate. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return in the future.

The first time I lived in such a great youth hostel, the privacy was high and quiet, and there was coffee to drink 🤣 I saw such a high evaluation on the reservation website and wanted to study it. I didn’t expect to find a treasure youth hostel. The location is also good. The Taipei Station MRT Station is less than 3 minutes away, and there is an elevator. Large luggage is ok. I am too lazy to walk. It is close to the MRT in the city center. It is too convenient. It is the first time to live in such a great youth travel. The privacy is high and quiet. There is also coffee to drink. 🤣 I saw such a high evaluation on the reservation website and wanted to study it. I didn't expect to find a treasure youth hostel. The location is also good. - Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

I have booked a total of 3 nights in this hotel. We have encountered some confusion during the check in as the hotel renamed recently from Hedo to Le Room, and the room size or features of the room we booked initially. Nevertheless, we appreciated the hotel staff gave us a free upgrade during our stay. Perhaps there is renovation works going on in the building or around the building, they provided us a set of ear plug and I believed the complimentary breakfast was provided for the compensation. Nice breakfast spread. Strong connection for their Wifi. However, their pillow is too soft for me. Air con is not consistent, sometime in the middle of the night, the temperature may be a bit too warm for me. The water pressure is strong but sometimes the water suddenly become cold for 1-2sec. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel as the location was strategic. Walking distance to Ximending and exit z10 to the underground mall. The staff is also quite patience and able to compromise our request

Very close to Taipei Main Station (look for exit Z8) in which you can be easily connected to other locations. Room was clean. Lobby was very nicely done up. Good for families with children. They also have washing machines and dryers for NT50 each per use. Complimentary light bites provided in the afternoon (limited hours) in the lobby. Would recommend and stay again.

I was quite lost on which hotels to choose from as there are many different type of hotels in Taipei. I’m glad that I chosen JustSleep hotel in Ximending. It was a great stay for me, the room is spacious, amenities are well-provided, high wifi speed, delicious breakfast and most importantly is the bed and pillow is so comfortable to sleep on .. it’s really worth its name “JustSleep”. I will recommend this to friends or families travelling (it’s kids friendly hotel too). Will choose this hotel again for my next stay!

Short stay over 2022/2023 New Year holiday weekend. Location was ok, about 10 minutes walk from a MRT station. Hotel was packed during the stay, the lobby, overcrowded small breakfast lounge and most places were too small to accommodate if there were more than a few guests at one time. The food during breakfast was very nice for me, and the staff were busy preparing and refilling the food that got finished very quickly. Most of the staff were ok, but would not interact or or help much; probably due to the amount of workload. The rooms were decent to good. Price was average to high, but also due to holiday period. One biggest unpleasantness was during check-out, with a crowded lobby and staff seemingly very eager for me to leave immediately after return of room card. No chance of leaving any baggage till later part of the day, and I got spot-checked and shooed immediately by the guard when I put down my bag to take my belongings, the moment I stepped out of the hotel entrance. The check-out experience and overcrowding during full occupancy, was unpleasant for a probably ok hotel.

It is very near to Taipei Train Station where can be reached directly by Airport MTR. As we have booked a room of 20 meter square on 3rd or 4th floor, we were provided by a smaller room on 2nd floor. There is not enough space for us to open 2 luggages at the same time. The room facilities are not good for us. For example, hangers are provided but no places for us to use them. We are noticed that the hotel has free coffee provided, but it does not have. The hotel has a rule that they do not have room cleaning service every day. So when having used or almost used the only one toilet paper provided, you need to ask them to get a new one even in the midnight. As for the room cleaning, they only gave us the new bath towels. They had taken away the face towels!

Good location, clean showers. Reception desk only open from 10am when you need to check out before 11. Not ok not to have someone in the hostel 24/7 if there's plenty of people sleeping in the basement and it's a bit of a maze to find your room and exit. Also, I had to pay 200 Taiwan dollars as deposit for a second key card (even if we had made a booking for 2 people anyway) and I could only get deposit back in cash at 10am. As our flight was early, we did not get the deposit back (hostel did not want to make bank transfer). I find if very customer unfriendly, either drop the deposit or make sure people can get it back via bank transfer or have someone from 7 or 8am at the reception!
