Parc Maasresidence Thorn

Stayed for a few days and very satisfied. The house was clean and fully equipped. Environment is very well maintained. Children made full use of the playground, football field and swimming pool. The restaurant was good and the bowling alley was also very nice. The supermarket was a bit pricey, but you often see that at holiday parks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I changed my reservation from 6 nights (1556 euros) to 5 nights and only received 30 euros refunded to my account. Those would be the prices at that time. I find this very strange, I would like to stay with you for 30 euros per night. I called the moment I saw it, but according to the park it was too late, so I should have called earlier. There was nothing more that could be done.

Everything is very clean, very modern, great surroundings, easy check in, the houses are very well equipped, parking spaces directly at the house, the white city in the immediate vicinity is easy to reach on foot, there are enough bicycle routes and these are very well signposted,

We stayed in an eight-person house on the side of the Grote Hegge waterhole. The house was new with spacious bedrooms and nice sanitary facilities and there was a sauna in the house. Slept well on wonderful beds, really great. The house was very fully furnished with all necessary items in the kitchen. Also a very good towel package including a sauna towel and kitchen towels. I always carry too much with me to a holiday home, but that is not necessary here. Everything is there! Large TV with Chromecast app. Beautiful terrace with a view of the Maasplas and no problems with the neighbors, you have plenty of freedom. A big advantage for dog owners: the garden of our house was fenced, so he could walk freely outside in the garden. The plants in the park are still a bit bare, but it is a new park and the trees still have to grow. Nice swimming pool, and a cozy central building with restaurant, bowling alley and supermarket. You can take beautiful walks in the area and you can walk to Thorn via a bridge over the pond. Recommended: the boat trip across the Maasplassen, you see the villages from a different side and children can come and see the captain.
