Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Perfect for this town. Great buffet selection. However, some of the room and Hotel descriptions were inaccurate. Specifically, no private bathroom (the bath and toilet are no located in a separate room and there was no swimming pool.

Wonderful Architecture. Comfortable room with large bathing tubs. Welcoming and attentive staff. I would always return to this hotel. Highly recommend it.

· Firstly the hotel lacks a**osphere light and decor but these have nothing to do with the fact the hotel is built on levels on elevated terrain and it is centuries old building. It is quite a sombre place with very poor lighting and exudes negative energy - positive energy comes from the top end of management and is obviously lacking this There is no leadership and you basically have three receptionists who do everything. There is a non Spanish manager who oversees the property for a Miami based owner but the brief moment we saw her on our first day when she seemed detached form her surroundings and unengaging on our she was not to be seen in hands on way.The receptionists had to prepare the pultry breakfasts as well and apart from cleaning staff there was no porter with many steps to negotiate As the hotel is inaccessible by taxi there is a walk on cobbled stones with suitcases. We were offered a free taxi from the parking so did not expect to have to pay directly the taxi driver and then not get reimbursed from our deposit or paid in cash The terraced roof has a panoramic view of countryside but not the ocean and is very exposed to the winds We were offered an upgrade but realised it was because our room booked months before had an extended stay.We refused as it was ground floor poorly lit with the bed in a recess with no space .The room we were given was outside the main building was poorly lit with totally impractical furniture no coffeee machine or safe and poor quality toiletries In addition if you want a massage they charge an outrageous €105 and you have to negotiate 40 steps up and down in what was a well to an unventilated enclosed dark cave space. This place is not for the physically challenged The last night we were there I just checked their room prices and they wanted a non refundable €350 without breakfast for an exclusive deluxe double room with balcony - outrageous We paid over €200 without breakfast. There are far better places to stay

The hotel is centrally located, unbeatable. Very clean and with super attentive and friendly staff. It is a pleasure. The fantastic room. It had a loft that we did not use (somewhat uncomfortable due to the height of the ceiling above) but the room is complete, clean and very pleasant. If you go, remember to ASK FOR ONE WITH GOOD VIEWS. Ours faced the alley, but in any case it was very quiet. The terrace has a small bar where we went in the evening. Very good. Complete and varied breakfast. Fantastic. If there is something to say, it is the price. It is not economical. But it is a safe and very good option. By the way... don't even think about trying to get there by car. For us: FANTASTIC

Encouraged by the good opinions of the supposed clients of this hotel and the photos on the page, we booked the superior suite with terrace of this hotel. The price was very high but we thought it would be worth it. Upon arrival, we discovered that neither the dimensions nor the characteristics of the room had anything to do with what was advertised. The bed was wedged between two peeling walls, the bathroom was tiny and had no privacy, terrible insulation. It looked like an attic without a certificate of occupancy. Uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Four star hotel that made us pay in advance. When we asked for explanations about the lack of similarity with the photos on the page, they told us that it was the only thing there was and as compensation, they gave us some cookies. I paid for another hotel (besides this one) because I wasn't willing to ruin my vacation. And I went to a cheaper two-star hotel that gave me a thousand thoughts about this one that is advertised as something luxurious. Egregious mistake that will not be repeated.

The hotel is not staffed during the night. When you arrive they show you a small room with a refrigerator and coffee maker and tell you that it is self-service during the absence of the staff. We had two coffees and two beers and they charged us 40 euros! A real steal! During our stay some of the facilities on the terrace floor were not working (we were notified once booked). In short, a nice hotel, comfortable bed, good breakfast, but the quality-price ratio was too high.

The positive aspects are the central location in the town, the extremely friendly staff and the great view of the countryside and the valley from the terrace. The negative aspects are the absolutely average standard of the room, the loud noises from a technical pump 24 hours a day, especially in the evenings, the completely excessive prices in the self-service area (drinks of all kinds) and the lack of a coffee machine. Furthermore, the WiFi is set up in such a way that you cannot access a secure network from a laptop and therefore cannot access the Internet. This problem could not be resolved for four days. This is a huge handicap for anyone who has to work on their computer rather than on their cell phone or iPad. At a daily price of €260, the price and performance do not match in any way.

We only stayed one night in this wonderful hotel, but it was enough to feel the warmth of the place. The view from the rooftop is beautiful, my wife and I spent pleasant hours there, tasting good wine and enjoying the view
