I would love to write a review full of praise for this place, because the location is very convenient, the structure is cute and the staff is at least friendly, but the compliments stop there. In our room, nothing worked, the shower was bad (a bathtub hose where the water came out only horizontally), the air conditioning only makes noise and does not cool the room (warning, it contains irony: here the staff informs you that it is legislation local and need to keep the air at around 25 degrees or more depending on the environment, although it seems that only they follow the supposed law, since when passing by other commercial establishments, including hotels, it is possible to notice the air conditioning equipment working very well and at more pleasant temperatures). Our fridge didn't work either, maybe for environmental reasons too 😂. Anyway, this hotel is great for those who want to save a lot and be well located, but don't expect to have air conditioning, a minibar or even a shower as we are used to. The breakfast is ok, they serve cereal with yogurt or milk, a bread roll and a croassaint per person, accompanied by a slice of cheese and ham and options for jam. Be especially careful with the cold ones, as it is possible that they serve the items close to spoiling, I speak because it happened to us. Oh, and I almost forgot: on the website it says that check-in is available from 8am to 12pm, which doesn't match reality, as this process can only be done after 2pm. Anyway, the hotel had everything to be very nice, but it doesn't seem that people are caring about it.

Great price and location. Friendly and helpful owners & staff. Charming vibe - if slightly faded 😀 We received lots of great advice on where to eat, drink etc. The dolphin restaurant next door was friendly and fab also (they also do take outs). Room was very clean- but in need of a little TLC. Eg aircon worked, but remote handset was a little temperamental, some TV channels were a bit sketchy, shower took a little while to run warm. But we hate staying in characterless pristine branded hotels. We’ll fondle remember this for its staff and its quirkyness.

Hotel is located in a great part of Venice, 10min of slow walk to the center, great restaurant right across the street. We've booked a room for 3 nights with breakfast which was satisfying with lots of pastries and local food although there was no vegetables or fruit. I recommend this hotel due to its price and value ratio. Our room was in Pantalon hotel, we needed late check in and staff was extremely helpful and kind, thanks to Emilia! Our stay was very pleasant. Keep in mind that when it's cold outside you need to close the window covers

I really like the location of the hotel, 900 meters from the train station, and got off the train for 10 minutes. There are a few nice little streets nearby, you can stroll around, a distance from a university, and San Vidal with Vivaldi violin. The ”Four Seasons” is the highlight of our trip at 9pm. The breakfast was quite satisfactory and quite complete. The exterior of the hotel is well decorated and I really like the courtyard of the hotel. It is quiet and tasteful, and it is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard at night. Our room is not too big, new decoration, but too dazzling and too modern, shining everywhere. The bathroom and the bathroom are all glass doors, and what is inside is clear. It is suitable for couples. The attitude at the front desk is good, but the sales atmosphere is too heavy and the service attitude is insufficient. When I checked in, I tried to recommend a restaurant. I ran off my leg and found a corner. I waited a long time to open the door, and the food was not what we expected. Later, I checked it out and it turned out to be a special restaurant of the Gluten-free.
Ca' San Polo

The San Polo is not really a hotel, I would call-it a Guest House with a small 'reception' on the 2nd floor in a tiny, typical Venice building with lots of stairs managed by friendly people! The location is perfect for travellers arriving by train (15 minutes walk) and also close enough to the 'Ponte di Rialto' and the 'Ponte dell' Accademia', which is quite important in Venice, but you will find-it out by yourself. And: Follow the ”dont's” for Venice: Don't travel with heavy lugagge. We booked the junior suite (decent price), which was on the 3rd floor, were also the breakfast is served. The room is extra spacious, with a king size bed, an extra bed and a sofa, TV etc. It has a, lets called-it 'Venetian- Chic' and was clean (for allergic people: Carpet on the floor). The bed was super comfortable (we like it more on the hard side). Also the toilet is spacious, equipped with everything you need (lots of towels available) and housekepping cleaned every day. For breakfast scrumbbeled eggs and/or a ham, salami & cheese plate is served on demand, for the sweets lovers, there is pastery and freshly made cake availble, the coffee comes from the coffeemachine. As said it is simple and you will certaily not get a 'room with a view' for that price/location in Venice, but it works perfectly for a 2-3 nights trip to Venice!

We arrived very late and did about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Be aware that there are several bridges to carry larger suitcases if you are walking from the train station like we did. Also you have to carry up all luggage to the room. However, check in was easy and quick online and we found the hotel easily. Room was large and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. However we couldn’t get the safe to work right or figure out the heating system. The remote for the unit was without a battery and a maintenance light kept blinking off and on all night. However, I just covered it with a bandaid since no one would answer the service line- again we were a late check in. Bathroom and other amenities: TV, Internet, Room lighting were fine. Breakfast was enjoyable and readily available and fully furnished. Hostess was very nice and accommodating. Another warning that there is no place to store luggage, so we found a storage site near the train station that cost us for two storage bins because they only hold a certain number of pieces of luggage. But it was a great location once we left Venice and boarded our train that evening. Had a great time visiting and got to really see and experience a lot of great sites- especially the gondola ride.
