On internet they have used pictures from long, long time ago. The football field is a desert by now. In the little children pool is no water at all. The private beach is a pebble / rocky piece of shore where you need shoes to enter the water. And hopefully the waves dont throw you back against the rocks upon entry. The cabin is old and there is nothing to keep you cool. Owner claims that he prefers the fresh sea breeze. Well if there would be a breeze at all it was still 35+ degrees in the cabin. Very very small kitchen, ridiculous small and expensive shop and no other facilities at all. Everything is very steep and will take a lot of energy to come somewhere. And that for 1650 euro per week. A cash cow we call that. Never, never never again. The owner should be more transparant or invest in an upgrade as this is not even a 1 star facility. Only positive part is that you might be able to see the sea. And if you have bad luck, hear the neigbours above or below you (as you can not see on the website pictures)......

This is a delightfully sprawling resort comprised of a collection of individual cottages nestled on a verdant hillside leading down to a private and unspoiled beach. There is a large salt-water pool, a small shop for essentials, a bar for breakfast, and an excellent restaurant on site. Further afield, a host of picturesque seaside towns, beaches, and a wealth of top-notch restaurants are just a short drive from the property. Do note that while Resort La Francesca allows dogs, it can't be said to welcome them. They are not allowed off the leash at any time nor able to be present on the outside terrace, by the pool, or on the beach. As a result, I was largely unable to join my family swimming or for breakfast - although our dog appeared happy to sit with me and consider the view on our balcony.

A beautiful location, right on the Mediterranean Sea. Individual units are private. Parking was convenient by European standards. Staff was quickly responsive to requests.

We had a very nice stay at La Francesca. The cabin was a bit old, but comfortable. The outdoors and the view were fantastic.

We were enthusiastic about Francesca for many reasons: the tranquility, the strategic position, as you can easily reach Levanto or Bonassola on foot via the cycle path by the sea, the magic of the place combined with the efficiency of the homes... lastly a compliment to all the staff and in particular to Sonia & Valentina for the friendliness and quality of the bar service. I stayed with my friends in your facility. Unlike the other guests, I immediately asked for a room change because it didn't meet expectations. The second room was better than the first... at least the refrigerator worked. Insects and cleanliness of the rooms were practically identical to the first, same thing for the comforts offered, unusable or not present. I also live surrounded by nature, but that doesn't mean my house is invaded by insects and if they are dead, I remove them. After requesting a change and getting an almost identical room, I think I don't have to spend my time inspecting additional rooms to get a decent one. I believe it is the fundamental responsibility of the manager to conduct a complete inspection of the rooms and the entire property before making them available to guests, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free experience. I will probably receive the same answer given to the other guests and that is that we gave the negative review so as not to pay €32.00 for parking, crumbs, compared to the €1000.00 paid for a dilapidated structure. I leave the pleasure of confirming or disproving my review to your future guests. I sincerely hope that it is proven wrong, because it will mean that you have decided to invest in the structure to improve customer satisfaction.

We stayed in this property at the beginning of April 2024. The rooms assigned to us were found to be unsuitable. Poor cleanliness of the accommodation, with the presence of insects inside. The safe and the TV remote control were missing (which therefore did not allow its use). We tried to report the problems encountered during the stay, but did not obtain any response from the facility's representatives. The only positive aspect is the favorable location of the village, with an excellent view of the sea below. The structure certainly needs to be modernized and looked after much better.

The experience at this resort was extremely disappointing. Dated and poorly maintained apar**ents, with obvious cleaning problems (cobwebs on the ceilings and on the entrance door, dead insects, hair in the shower tray). We had to run the water from the taps for a long time as it came out brown, a sign that they hadn't been used for a while. The shower worked poorly. The TV supplied, in addition to being an old-fashioned model, did not have an antenna cable or remote control, so you might as well not put it on! The only positive note is the enchanting landscape, not thanks to the property which does not seem at all interested in offering a comfortable stay to its guests
