Beautiful lakeside view. Didn’t have time to check out all the amenities. The room was clean and ready for us when we checked in. Would come back!!

Loved that it stocked the kleenex and was impressed that it offer a darker colored washcloth for cleaning makeup off. The veiw from our room of the river was beautiful. All of the staff were very nice and welcoming.

Had a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River. Staff was friendly at check. Couple things I didn't care for was our bathroom in our room was very tiny. Had to turn sideways between the toilet and the wall to close the door. The walls must be pretty thin as my wife and I were awaken 2 times throughout the night from the people in the room next to ours. Lets just say they were getting it on. Overall a decent hotel within walking distance of the shops downtown, but man those walls must be pretty thin.

Our stay at The Vue was actually very good. The staff that checked us in was very polite and helpful. I ordered some flowers to be delivered the same day as our check in for my wife to surprise her the day after so I spoked to a gentleman about it. On our check in day the front receptionist knew and instead of telling me the flowers had arrived, she wrote it on a piece of paper and slid it my way for me to read. I thought that was cool and slick as was wondering if they had arrived. The held them at there office till I picked them up. The room had a balcony and a view and it was just as expected. The jacuzzi and pool plus the sauna are great as well. I will definitely will return on warmer weather to see what the boathouse has to offer. Definitely give it a try.

Really enjoyed the beautiful view from our king suite on the fifth floor. The bed was very comfortable as well. Would definitely stay here again.

One night stay for Basketball this time. We love the view at the VUE and we have aquired a friend who tends bar. We look forward to seeing her whenever we are in town. As long as she is there we will stay at The VUE.

Positives: The front desk and bar staff were very kind and helpful. The view from our room was pretty.
Negatives:
We had a ”suite” in the main hotel with three queen beds, two were in one room that overlooked the river and the single queen was in a room that faced the parking lot.
The room was not well cleaned. There was a brown smudge on the wall, the outside of the windows were full of cobwebs and dirty. My nightstand had a marble top and it was clear they did not clean it because there was a brown sticky substance all over it.
The window in the smaller room had no screen, (safety hazard) and I swear there had to have been a hole in the wall because I could hear everything outside. I checked the window to make sure it was closed too.
At 3AM we were awoken by drunken people in the room next to us. We had to call the front desk because the music they were blaring was so loud. Also, the walls between rooms must have no insulation. We could hear “everything”.
It’s unfortunate because this is such a great location and could have a lot of potential.
