⚠️Essential items: ID card, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, water bottle (the water in the park is too expensive, bringing a water bottle allows you to fill up at the park's drinking fountains), camera📷 and memory card (Hong Kong Disneyland is really photogenic, instant cameras are a must!!!) Travel: 1. Outbound: Futian Station to West Kowloon (High-speed rail 68) then transfer to the subway to Hong Kong Disneyland 2. Return: Subway back to Austin and take the high-speed rail (75) back to Shenzhen North ps: The subway can be accessed by scanning a QR code! The machines at the exit gates can scan codes (search for travel in zfb and switch to the HK region to use it, there's no need to buy an Octopus card for just a day or two); for the return trip, if you're worried about missing the high-speed rail, make sure to get on the subway back by 9:30 pm 🌟Recommended attractions: 1. Iron Man Experience A VR immersive experience! For those who can't handle thrilling rides, this one is really fun~ 2. Mad Hatter Tea Cups & Carousel Both are very photogenic! The carousel looks even better when photographed at night!! 3. Hyperspace Mountain & Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars Those who can handle high-altitude rides should try these two, but the queues might be long, so it's best to line up for these first when entering the park. If you can handle thrilling rides, the first row of Hyperspace Mountain is super exciting!!! We rode the Big Grizzly Mountain Mine Cars twice, a must-do attraction!! 4. Mystic Manor It seems to be a globally unique themed area within Hong Kong Disneyland. Walk 4 routes, shuttle through 13 story scenes, touted by the park as the most complex attraction in its history. Here you will experience an audio-visual feast with sound, smell, and tactile sensations, belonging to a flowing 4D scene. Parade & Fireworks🎆 Parades usually happen around 13:30, and there will also be performances at the castle entrance. Fireworks are usually from 9:00-9:30 pm (depending on the closing time of the park), the day we went they started at 9 pm, with small fireworks at first, getting bigger as time went on, unfortunately, we had to catch the high-speed rail and couldn't watch till the end😶 For those who want to take photos with characters, Hong Kong Disneyland characters appear randomly, so if you see one, don't hesitate to approach, and the staff will be very enthusiastic to help with videos and photos, all the princesses and characters are very warm~ Wishing everyone a happy time at Hong Kong Disneyland!
