How many people want to visit Mount Fanjing after watching aerial videos? 😁 Personal experience (ascending and descending via the East Gate) 1️⃣ Make sure to book your tickets a few days in advance, so you can choose an earlier time to enter the scenic area. 2️⃣ Definitely arrange to stay near the scenic area the day before, so you can reach the main entrance of the scenic area within a few minutes' walk. 3️⃣ If you are young, I don't think it's necessary to worry about which path is less strenuous; they all seem about the same. After getting off the cable car, take the wooden plank path up, and in half an hour you'll reach the Mushroom Stone, then ascend to the Red Cloud Golden Summit, take another path down to Pudu Square, then up to the Old Golden Summit, and follow the downhill path to the cable car station. 4️⃣ It's recommended to travel light, just bring 1-2 bottles of water and some snacks, and store the rest. The storage service at Mount Fanjing is not free, and the last picture has a list of charges. Also, drones are not allowed on Mount Fanjing. 5️⃣ It's suggested not to buy the return bus ticket in advance (during the off-season) because you don't know what time you will come down the mountain. After descending, you can directly purchase tickets at the service center.
