#hiddengems #Kyoto This is Uji City located in Kyoto Prefecture, Kansai Region. As you could probably tell from the name, it is the origin of where the infamous Uji Matcha originated from. It is surreal just walking down the streets of Uji. Your smell is dominated by the strong fragrance of matcha! There are many matcha related food from your normal drinks, ice cream to savoury food like takoyaki and matcha salt. There are also nice views to enjoy especially during spring and autumn~
