Our whole family stayed here for our trip to Quanzhou, and the service was excellent. They even gave us thoughtful introductions to various attractions in Quanzhou and provided us with a guide. The rooms were lovely, with new facilities and very quiet. The parking lot was free and spacious, and there was even a swimming pool! It truly lives up to its reputation as a leisure hotel. Superb!

This hotel stay was quite pleasant. The staff were all very considerate and enthusiastic. Vicky, knowing we were tourists, thoughtfully prepared a tourist map and special sweet soup for us. The room had a great view, and we could even see the flag-raising ceremony. The environment was also good. Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are very well-maintained, especially the bathroom – even with long hair, the drain worked perfectly after washing my hair. The hotel is located in the city center with convenient transportation; all the attractions are accessible by subway. Not far from the hotel, there are Fuzhou-特色 restaurants and snacks. In fact, the hotel's breakfast already includes Fuzhou-特色 snacks, and they tasted pretty good.

This trip was a last-minute decision, and I'm so glad we picked this hotel out of so many options; it really enhanced our experience. The window in the room was exceptionally well-designed and instantly caught my eye. The fresh air system kept the air clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and bright. Despite having over eighty rooms, the hotel felt incredibly quiet. Each area had its own access control, and there was a subtle herbal scent wafting through the hallways. The location is definitely a highlight; you step right out into the middle section of Zhongshan Road. We stayed for two days and caught two performances. It was so easy to switch between sightseeing and relaxing. The front desk staff and servers were all very warm and polite. The mini-fridge had complimentary drinks, and they even gave us a little souvenir bag when we checked out, which was a thoughtful touch. I would genuinely recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Xiamen.

First off, the hotel is a bit old. The TV in the room didn't work very well, with a snowy screen, and the breakfast was just okay. Also, the complimentary afternoon tea from 3tea only offers tea, no pastries, and it seems you can't use it at every branch; you have to ask first. That being said, the 70-square-meter suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough. The room service was also excellent. Finally, I'd like to give a special shout-out to Aria. Her service was fantastic, she was very responsive, and she did her best to fulfill all requests. Excellent job!

The Hilton Sanya's facilities are great, but unfortunately, the staff's service quality is really lacking. We had a bit of an unpleasant incident, but later, a supervisor or manager from the hotel resolved it, and their attitude was excellent, which I appreciated. They even gave me a small gift. I forgot my ID in the key card holder of room 5132 when I switched rooms, and the hotel called me to arrange for it to be couriered to my next hotel, which I'm very grateful for. I hope my next trip goes smoothly!

My experience here was so amazing. The service great, and it felt just like home. The food taste was rich and flavourful, there were so many varieties of colourful food and drinks. The hotel itself felt so nice, and the hotel room felt nicer. I loved the bathtub. the bed was so soft. I hope i can come back soon. The bathtub felt just like a hot tub, and the design of the room was great. The view was extraordinary and I was able not only to see the whole place, but also feel like i was flying. The organisation of the objects were not only great, but they were genius. The design of the whole room left me and my family speechless. The food in the buffet was so good and i loved the look of everything set up. The choices were infinite and I was able not only eat but to enjoy every bite.

Great hotel, clean, modern, good location, excellent service. Highly recommended, wish I could have stayed longer, will be back again. It’s a definite yes if you are looking around for somewhere to stay in Fuzhou. Get a lake view room higher level

Highly recommend this hotel for families with a baby! We traveled with our 4-year-old and absolutely loved it. **Pros:** 1. **Kid-Friendly:** They provided a bed rail for the crib, preventing our child from rolling off. The hotel also arranged for kids' toiletries and slippers. The swimming pool was empty, so our little one had it all to themselves, haha! They even offered disposable bathtub liners. The attention to detail was excellent, and the toiletries brand was top-notch! 2. **Convenient Location:** Getting around was easy, with good transport links and a decent surrounding area. There were shared e-scooters available downstairs, making it super convenient to ride with our child to Xunpu Village and enjoy the views of fishing boats along the way. The Ferris wheel was right next door, offering stunning night views. Special shout-out to Lei at the front desk – he was wonderful! He upgraded our room and even gave our baby complimentary orange juice! **For families with kids, please consider this:** I strongly advise against staying at the highly-rated guesthouse in West Street. The hygiene there was concerning. West Street itself is often congested, making travel difficult, and the huge crowds aren't ideal when you have a child. The street doesn't have much unique character either; apart from searching for those 'must-try' restaurants, there's not much else to see, do, or buy.

After returning from Meizhou Island, we saw Shangri-La recommended on Ctrip and made a beeline for it. The lobby decor, as always, exuded the classic Shangri-La style. The concierge service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, though I wasn't quite accustomed to the taste of Yan Jiao (a type of wonton made with pork skin, if I recall correctly). The ancient bridge right next door was also a picturesque sight. A special mention goes to Tina, who was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She gave us fantastic recommendations for local dining and attractions. When arranging our room, she noticed we had children and thoughtfully sent up kids' slippers and toothbrushes. The welcome fruit was also pre-arranged, featuring a large, fresh bunch of grapes and two wonderfully juicy and tender pears. Her service was truly attentive and personalized. We were only passing through Putian on our way back from Meizhou Island this time, but we unexpectedly discovered that Putian is definitely worth revisiting! Next time, we'll plan a dedicated trip here and will absolutely stay at the Shangri-La again. We really hope to see Tina again then! 😘😘

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy. The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.
