Hotels With Pools in Taiwan, China

Next time I'm in Taipei, I'd love to stay at the Grand Hotel again! I particularly enjoy hotels with a rich history, and the Grand Hotel was the perfect choice in Taipei. We stayed in the Kirin Hall in the back building, and they provided a dedicated car to take us there, even helping with our luggage throughout the journey – truly excellent! The Kirin Hall rooms offer direct views of Taipei 101, which was fantastic. The hotel also has two secret tunnels that guests can tour, and since we stayed for a week, we got to see both, which I really enjoyed. A huge convenience is the free shuttle service; besides the regular shuttle to Yuanshan Station, they also offer a weekend service to Jiantan Station. The only minor improvement I'd suggest is for the housekeeping to be a bit more meticulous (it's already very good, but sometimes I noticed a few hairs that weren't cleaned). Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!

Very good place to stay very near liuhe night market, mrt station, staff is friendly and nice, the room and bathroom and also the pool are clean but only the balcony is bad it’s scary to go outside because the floor is made of wood and some are broken already. My daughter she afraid had snake came out😂😂 also hallway and inside the elevator too dark.

Location is 5/5 for the walkability to Banqiao MRT station which connects you to the local MRT as well the regional train lines. The room and bathroom was extremely spacious with a bathtub. Although the shower stall tends to leak out water due to the gap in the glass panels of the door so we had to lay towels on the bathroom floor to prevent falling after the shower. Service rendered was warm and friendly on our arrival, especially notable was Alan at the concierge, whose suggestions on dinner spots were helpful when we first arrived tired and hungry. The roof top swimming pool had a fantastic view and was clean. We swam a little only as the weather was rainy and the pool water very cold. We had a good stay and if coming back to Banqiao, will stay again.

Perfect location with a wonderful harbour view from the balcony. The spacious room and comfortable super king-size bed made the stay very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently linked to a Hanshin Department Store on level 1. One minor drawback is that there is only one sink for a four-person room, and the water dispenser is only available on the 16th floor, as bottled water is still provided in the room

The hotel's location is a bit average; there aren't many shops nearby downstairs, so you have to walk a bit. It's right by a main road, but luckily the soundproofing is quite good. The room isn't very big, a twin room, and the beds are a bit small. There's also no luggage rack in the room, which is inconvenient – I was hesitant to put my luggage on the carpet fearing it might be unclean, and putting it by the door would block the way. I didn't use any other facilities, only had breakfast, which was decent. Luggage storage was also very convenient.

Splendid resort with fabulous breadfast and perfect location. The breakfast spread is wide, ranging from the local Taiwan porridge with plenty of delicious side dishes to cooked food, assorted bread and western breakfasts. It's open till 11am daily. Resort is a mere 5 mins walk to xiao wan beach and the night market. For those who don't drive, there is a bus stop outside the resort serving local bus and bus to kaohsiung. Cleanliness is definitely above average and the staffs are always wearing a smile and greets us which definitely makes us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for place to stay in kenting.

The space was spacious. I like that there are 2 lavatory sink which made things easier for us family to get ready and wash baby bottles. The bench near the window was also a plus, you can even sleep an adult there. Toilet has bidet too. No toothbrush or toothpaste provided so bring your own. There’s also play area for kids, gym and pool. Its few mins walk from the subway but you need umbrella if it rains. Great stay we like it! Its hard to find 3 beds room in taipei with affordable price. This is one stn away from ximen stn. We also had a nice view of the city.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!

The environment is great, with a mall downstairs that houses several major brands – perfect for a rainy day. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with plenty of places for a walk. Ningxia Night Market is within walking distance, not too far at all. Service and cleanliness are excellent. The front desk lady who checked me in was Japanese and spoke Mandarin; she was friendly and patient. The bellboy was also very polite, proactively helping us with our luggage and very chatty. I had left a note requesting a firm pillow, and housekeeping brought it to me the very next day, which was fantastic. However, the facilities are really hard to rate... The hotel is quite old. My room was on the top floor and lacked the desk and chair shown in the pictures, as well as the shelf under the TV that could be used for storage. On the top floor, there was an intermittent low-frequency noise during the day, whether from the air conditioning or something else, which was quite uncomfortable. Fortunately, it wasn't there at night when I was sleeping. I don't think the room facilities are up to five-star standards, but the service and breakfast were still excellent. Location opposite Park and within walk distance to night market. But 20 to 30 minutes drive airport. The so called Airport transfer is by normal taxi arranged by hotel. Please take note that you may incur charges if you left luggage at hotel overnight, Room that allocated to us with huge bath tub with jacuzzi. The bath room size about one third of room size.
