It existed in the 17th century, more than 500 years old. Throughout the Middle Ages, Alcaza Castle became one of the favorite royal palaces of the Castile kings. After 1898, it became the headquarters of artillery and kept military archives. Large mural, Princess Isabella was declared Queen of Castile on December 13, 1474 at the ancient church of San Miguel. Many tourist sources refer to the castle as Snow White, Cinderella, and Disney's castle, because it is said to be the prototype of the Disney logo.
