"Really nice hotel. Service was excellent from start to finish, with staff always polite and helpful. The lobby offers plenty of complimentary hygiene items—toothbrushes, combs, cream, hair ties, and more—which is a great touch. The room was very clean and comfortable. It’s Japanese-sized but well-designed and has everything you need, including a sleeping gown. They also use an eco-friendly cleaning system: full room cleaning every three days, with fresh towels left at your door daily. Our bathroom did have a slight humidity odour, and the sink showed some signs of age, but overall it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t affect the stay. Location was excellent—just a short walk to the metro, with many restaurants and convenience stores close by. Overall, a very good experience. Would recommend and would stay again."

"We took the Airport Limousine directly to the hotel, which was a really nice perk to start our first visit to Tokyo. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, and the self checkout was very convenient. We were there to celebrate our 44th anniversary, so we were given a room with a view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The daily towel changes and complimentary bottled water were a nice treat. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can not comment on the food. The location is ideal, especially when we checked out and had to get to Shinjuku Station to take a train to Yokohama. We took one day street which was great with luggage in tow. We didn't have to drag our luggage through the crowds and uneven sidewalks. The self-serve amenities are very convenient, and we love the sponge. Thank you for a wonderful first-time experience."

"If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep, I would recommend this guesthouse. I’ve stayed here two to three times already. The rooms are spacious, and the location offers easy access to both the subway and JR Ikebukuro Station. The staff are friendly and supportive. One thing to note is that the rooms are not soundproof, so you may hear people walking past your room."

"The view was amazing no matter where you look. And the breakfast was buffet style with traditional japanese food and it was delicious. There are multiple stations close by and right infront of it is Nakamise street with traditional foods and clothes. And Senso-Ji temple as well which was nice to walk around at night. Definitely would recommend for anyone traveling to Japa"

"23 January 2026 I chose to stay here due to the cost, shuttle buses, and restaurants on site. I stayed from 5th January to 19th January 2026. The pickup from the airport was easy. I arrived early and had to wait to check-in at 1500 hours (3:00 p.m.). They accepted my luggage and I got the free bus to Narita Square. Walked around getting the lay out of the area. Free shuttle back to Hotel. Arrived and allowed to check in. They clean the room every other day and provide fresh towels every other day. The wi-fi was strong in all areas. Multi routers & log-in for the areas. The signature restaurant was closed. They have another with limited meals. The breakfast buffet was Japanese with very limited western items. Sausage (hotdogs flavor) French fries (large steak fry cut) poorly seasoned, toast & rolls, coffee & juice. About the 6th or 7th day boiled eggs were available. I tried many of the Japanese dishes and some were favorable and others not. I ate raw tuna daily and it still needs salt, pepper, flour & hot grease. The laundry facilities were clean and worked well. I did note a few areas of concern the smoked area over the lights and HVAC grates/grills needed cleaning. They have a convenience store on premises. I used the airport shuttle to airport to take train to Tokyo."

"My stay at Prince Hotel was nothing but joyous - this hotel shines in those little things that are the most important for a comfortable trip. The whole building, from the lobby to the guest floors, is immaculate and well kept, giving a clean and cozy feeling that immediately relaxes you. The only that I will say about this hotel is: the staff was phenomenal: every single employee was genuinely warm, enthusiastic and helpful. Their warm smiles and readiness to help made check-in and check-out and all the dealings in between easy and joyful experiences. The room was on the small side (this is standard in Tokyo) but was intelligently designed with all the basics, and the size never got in the way of our having a good time. Moreover, the daily housekeeping service was flawless – our room was meticulously cleaned every day, ensuring it remained neat and fresh throughout our stay. Besides the tiny space, I really have nothing to complain about. This is a clean, well-run, practical hotel in a good location in Tokyo makin it a great choice for visitors to the citiy. I’d definitely stay here again and would suggest it to anyone who needs a dependable, comfortable place to stay!"

LLuisalalaThis hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location! You can take a direct bus from both Haneda and Narita airports. Even if there isn't a direct bus to the hotel itself, you can easily take one to Shinjuku Bus Terminal and reach the hotel with just a 5-minute walk – super convenient! Check-in is on the 20th floor, and there's a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. It's also not far from Yoyogi Station and Shinjuku JR Station, with plenty of shopping malls nearby. Although our king room was only 26 square meters, there was still plenty of space to open two suitcases. The lighting controls and bathroom facilities were all excellent. However, showering in the bathtub felt a bit slippery. So, a mixed bag!

We used the laundry room, you just need a 100 yen coins (from the reception) - 600 yen for wash+dry of 3Kg + up to 300 for extra drier time. You enter a code to lock the machine for your use only.
We took the breakfast of the hotel and it includes every thing.
We also use the hotel service to keep our extra luggage for a week (when we went to south of Japan).

ZZhongguangguangHonestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor.
Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water.
Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily.
The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip.
Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away.
The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.

MMofamaomiuFirst, the positives: The staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel's commitment to sustainability is truly commendable. You can genuinely feel their care for both guests and employees, with thoughtful touches everywhere. They offer a choice of pillows (soft or firm), yukatas, and self-service toiletries. The breakfast spread is fantastic, with delicious salads and bread, plus a toaster oven. The evening public bath is a carbonated hot spring, and while it's not huge, it's open all night! After a day of shopping, soaking in the hot spring is incredibly relaxing.
The only minor drawbacks are that the room is quite small, and the narrow hallway makes it difficult to open luggage. However, given the location and price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's highly recommended for tourists staying 1-2 days or solo travelers!

Also, the bedsheets are changed everyday, you get clean pyjama and towels everyday.
One thing that was annoying is the size of the lockes, it is very small and little bit inconvenient with the card sistem.
Also keep in mind that you have to be out of the hotel during the certain hours due to cleaning.

WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.

GGuest UserThe room was perfect for our family since everyone had their own bed. The beds were comfortable, which made resting after long days of sightseeing easy. The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There’s also a grocery store and a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The laundry area was another nice bonus for families traveling longer. Overall, a great and convenient stay in Ueno.
