WWeiqiqiThis is a business hotel with clean, tidy, and adequately sized rooms. However, if you're traveling with children and have more than two suitcases, I'd recommend booking at least a 'boutique room' as standard rooms might not have enough space for your luggage. The hotel staff are highly professional; I even encountered an employee (not ethnically Chinese) who spoke fluent Mandarin. Although they weren't speaking to me directly, it felt very welcoming. Indeed, there were quite a few Chinese guests coming and going.
The hotel's lobby bar is excellent, offering a wide selection of drinks from 11 AM until late evening. The staff there are very enthusiastic.
Crucially, the hotel is incredibly close to the airport. One of the photos I uploaded shows a building at the end of the road, which is part of the airport complex. To its left is P51, the car rental parking lot at Geneva Airport, and T1 terminal is just a short walk to its right. It's only a 7-minute walk from P51 back to the hotel, and 12 minutes from the terminal. This makes it particularly convenient for travelers who rent and return their cars at Geneva Airport.
Of course, the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service to and from the airport. It runs every 20 minutes, takes about 5 minutes, and I believe it starts as early as 4 AM.
Turn right just 30 meters from the hotel entrance, and you'll find a bus stop for the No. 10 bus, which goes directly to Lake Geneva (a 5-minute walk from the stop) and Geneva Old Town.
Upon check-in, the front desk provides an A4 printout with a free electronic public transport pass. Simply scan the QR code to download the 'hello Geneva' app, enter the 8-digit coupon ID, and you can generate an electronic travel card. You can use it for free for as many days as you're staying at the hotel.
Breakfast is served on the basement level, with both indoor and outdoor seating (smoking allowed outdoors). The food selection is decent, including coffee, milk, juices, sausages, eggs (uncommonly, besides the usual cheesy scrambled eggs, they also offered fried egg rolls), salmon, and a good variety of cold cuts like ham and salami. Fruits, toast, bread, and mini croissants are also available.
The hotel's charging sockets require an adapter. They support UK-style plugs, but for European round plugs, the recessed holes are quite deep. If you bring an adapter from home, make sure it's a long-tipped one like mine. Some round-headed adapters can only fit into the central socket.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Sagitta and I honestly feel it deserves more recognition for the value it offers.
First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus.
Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room.
There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that!
For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.

AAndrewguanThis hotel, Aparthotel Adagio Genève Mont-Blanc, is about a 10-minute walk from Geneva Central Station and easy to find. It's also just a 10-minute stroll to the lake to see the Jet d'Eau. The rooms are quite spacious, featuring a separate kitchen fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, induction hob, and all the pots and pans you need for cooking your own meals. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, they have a DIY fresh orange juice machine, which is a definite plus!

KKatrin007I spent two days at this hotel. I liked the location near the lake,the interesting design,and the delicious,varied breakfasts. The only thing that slightly detracted from my experience was the check in process: no one helped me with my luggage,and I am young petite woman. I had to carry my luggage to my room myself,and this was the first time I encountered such a situation in 27 countries. Overall ,everything was excellent,but I would have preferred a more attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

10-15m away from Munich Central Station, Königsplatz, Glyptothek, Pinakothek by foot. A bit further away from Munich Residence, Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, Englischer Garten but has public transport nearby.
Room:
Clean, size quite comfortable.
Although the hallway was dusty and smelled a bit due to renovation work in the room opposite— merely screened off by plastic that kept coming loose. We could also hear tram from outside but was not too bothersome.
Breakfast:
A deception. Scramble eggs and pastries were so-so, coffee was also not good... We regretted choosing a room with breakfast deal. Not very varied, especially if staying for several nights.
Bar:
Open 24/7 but had no indication anywhere that cocktails or small bites were no longer available after a certain time.

Staff were friendly

GGuest UserConvenient location, very close to the lake. The facilities and breakfast were decent, but you have to make your own bed. I thought getting an upper bunk was bad enough, but then having to put my luggage in an overhead locker on top of that was even worse. And having only one toilet stall on the entire floor is definitely not enough.

LLindsayhanThe hotel is pretty good. It's connected to a shopping mall, so you can walk over to buy things without leaving the hotel. There's a Coop supermarket and restaurants. The hotel breakfast is just okay; no salad greens, but they do make fresh corn pancakes, two at a time with one press of a button. Geneva is quite small, so if you book a hotel, I recommend emailing them in advance to request a free public transport pass. That way, when you arrive at the train station, you can take a tram and a bus directly to the hotel (the stop is right in front of the hotel), saving you some money! There's also a direct bus to the airport from right outside the hotel. This free transport pass is provided by the Geneva government and can be used on buses, trams, and Geneva Lake cruises, but not on trains!
