SSonya_theoneWe've stayed at this hotel twice. The premium room and standard room only differ in size and the presence of a desk. The renovation is brand new, with a fresh and understated design.
The elevator operates silently but is slow. The soundproofing between rooms could be better, but if you just need a place to sleep while traveling and want to quickly depart from Termini for other parts of Italy, it's ideal and budget-friendly.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a convenient location, two steps from the Trevi Fountain. Overall, you can stay here for a couple of nights, but next time I'll look for something more comfortable. Cleanliness is mixed: on the one hand, the room was cleaned every day, bed linen and towels were changed, and the bathroom was well-cleaned. On the other hand, the carpet in the room is definitely unnecessary, why do they use it in hotels with high traffic? The carpet was poorly cleaned (or not cleaned at all) by the time we arrived, so we walked around the room exclusively in slippers. The bathroom was very stuffy, like a sauna, and we could not figure out how to deal with the air conditioning, it seemed that the bathroom was heated centrally. However, the air conditioning in the room itself did not work, but we did not contact them, since the nights were warm and we did not freeze. Yes, an important point! There is no soundproofing in the hotel at all, I woke up at night and early in the morning from footsteps in the hallway and someone's conversations.

MMichael_KOur stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome.
Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights.
The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom.
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows.
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other.
We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request.
As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee.
Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial.
House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without.
Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel isn't too far from the train station, which is pretty convenient. I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM, but couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. That policy is quite inconvenient. The room itself is very old, and the facilities are just average. The bathroom drain also had a really strong odor.

Having a limited selection of dishes might disappoint those who prefer variety or have specific dietary requirements. Introducing some variety or offering alternatives for guests staying multiple days would greatly enhance the breakfast experience.
Conclusion:
Hotel.Paris in Rome offers a comfortable and convenient stay, with its prime location and helpful staff being notable highlights. GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! It's tucked away in an alley just opposite the Colosseum, and some of the hotel rooms even offer views of it. You can walk to the Colosseum in just 3-5 minutes from the front door. Keep walking a bit further, and you'll reach iconic sights like Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. There's even a Roman Holiday-themed scene right outside the entrance. The fourth photo clearly shows the Colosseum from the hotel window. The front desk service was good, and the cleanliness was also acceptable. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom shower is quite small, so it's easy to splash water out and get the bedroom carpet wet. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
