Datong City Ruins

Located about 19km southeast of Dalaikubu Town, Ejina Banner, Inner Mongolia, it consists of two inner and outer city walls. Due to the multi-circle horse group, the horse circle city is also known as the "horse circle city". This city was built in the middle of the Tang Dynasty, formerly the former site of Datong City in Beizhou Yuwenxuan, and the seat of the guards of Datong Town in Sui and Tang Dynasty and the Northern Anbei Province. The two-year-old Kaibao of the Tang Dynasty (734 AD) set up the "Ningxuan Army" here. to control the military.

The Datong City ruins are in the Black City Monster Forest Scenic Area. The scenic spots are: Monster Forest, Red City ruins, Datong City ruins, and Xixia Black City ruins that integrate the history of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. There are very few buildings left in the Datong City ruins, and they have been seriously weathered. In the scenic area, there will be a stop in Datong City, but generally no tourists get off.

The Datong City ruins are far inferior to the Black City ruins in the Heicheng ruins scenic area. It integrates the history of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and now there is only a broken wall. The ticket for the Heicheng ruins scenic spot is 120 yuan. The scenic spot is located in a desert Gobi about 26 kilometers southwest of Dalaihubu Town. The most worth seeing are the strange woods and the Black City ruins.

The site of Datong City, the predecessor of the former site of Datong City in Beizhou Yuwenxuan, was built in the middle of the Tang Dynasty, and the location of Datong Town in Sui and Tang Dynasty. The entire city site is in a zigzag shape, with two circles of city walls, and the weathering is serious. There are not many leftovers of the earthen wall, but the original shape is still very clear. There are a lot of sites in Juyan District of Ejina Banner, many of which have been destroyed by the wind and sand. This Datong City site has been looking for me for three days. From the first day I arrived at Ejina Banner, I began to look for it. The locals either didn’t know or asked not to go, saying that there was only a soil slope. In fact, they said that the Red City ruins, that itself is a Xingtai, of course, only one slope Datong City can enter before, but now it is divided into the black water scenic spot, and has been owned by the state, closed to the outside world. Don't believe the online information, it is wrong, no matter the positioning or entry method, it is N years ago. Although it was rowed in the scenic area, it could not be reached from the scenic area. Early in the morning, with the cold wind, I went to Heishui again, and I spent a whole hour with the staff of the scenic spot. I told me that I had been wandering here for three days and studied various methods. I just wanted to take a look. Probably people saw me very bleak. I was finally willing to let me go there. ～ You can pass through the red road. The city, finally, can reach the Black City site again. But the compromise can only be seen from afar. Finally, I still went through the dog hole with a little brother in Hohhot. It has been completely attributed to the Cultural Relics Bureau, but the staff saw that we had no malicious intent and let us wander around. ～ It was a worthwhile trip. I came to Ejina Banner for several sites. Populus euphratica forest can't send me. I can't stick to it anymore. The locals probably have to be sick when I have a brain. In a few years, maybe it will really disappear. The inscriptions erected in that year have been indistinct. The red city is really only a distant view. The three layers and the three layers are blocked tightly, and there are several barbed wire fences, but you can still see the brick wall intact from a distant view.
