Not for road bike
This bike path is extremely bumpy and has gutter ditches across the road. Not recommended for road bikes the first 12km. After that you enter the forest area and the surface becomes better.

Good for a walk!
This is the site of the former Jnr Chitose Line, which runs from Higashi Sapporo (Convention Center) in Shiraishi Ward, Sapporo to ＪＲ Kitahiroshima Station in Kitahiroshima City. The road width is relatively wide, and you can enjoy cycling, running, and walking. The cherry blossoms were in bloom here and there and it was beautiful.
It's surprisingly far away.
Located between Shiraishi Ward and Toyohira Ward, it is a place of relaxation for bicycles and runners. Although it is not surprisingly known, it is connected by a long distance of nearly 20 km from Higashi Sapporo to Kitahiroshima. You can go back and forth within 2 hours by road bike, but there are many runners so you can't speed up. It will be comfortable after passing the thickness!
