Also foe a great view of the nagasaki city, you can head towards the Inasa Yama Park which is actually a lookout point on the peak of Mount Inasa. Hoping for peace at Nagasaki Peace Park

As many of us will know, Hiroshima and Nagasaki had been bombed when an atomic bomb was dropped onto each city during World War II, leading to devastating consequences. In memory of this historic event and the lives lost, Nagasaki Peace Park was built. This is also a must go place for locals, especially for students, as evident from the many school trips that are organised to this place. For tour groups who visit Nagasaki, this will also be one of the places of attraction to visit. There is a museum that depict the timeline of events in World War II and the dropping of the atomic bomb which ended the war. There is also a life size model of how the atomic bomb looks like on the inside, and the actual size of the bombs. For the outdoor park, there is the Peace Statue representing the hope for peace, and other monuments and memorials are also set up in memory of the victims who suffered and died from the bombing. This place is a sombre reminder that peace, stability and harmony should not be taken for granted, and everyone plays an important role in maintaining peace and harmony among ourselves. #fallingforfall #tripblazers

The first thing I saw at the entrance to the park was the symbolic Peace of Peace in the Peace Park, a male peace god. On the right hand, the index finger is pointing to the sky, indicating that the atomic bomb has fallen. The right hand is flat and the palm is facing down, wishing the world Antai. World Peace. The peaceful spring on the side of the park means giving a glass of water to the tragic souls killed in the disaster and praying for their blessings. At the same time, in order to pray for a worldly peace. The ever-changing fountain takes the shape of a dove of peace and flies, and at the same time has the shape of a crane, symbolizing the Nagasaki Port, which is known as the crane port. Japan’s 3 best night view at Mount Inasa

Mount Inasa indeed captures the best view of Nagasaki City from above. It is just a short 10 minutes drive up the curvy road in the western part of the city. There are several ways to reach the observatory, including ropeway (1250 yen round trip), bus and of course by car . If you drive, parking spaces are available at the summit. Once at the top, go up to the rooftop of the observatory building for a 360 degrees view. The west side faces the ocean and is absolutely stunning at sunset. The other side overlooks Nagasaki City on the two sides of the Uragami River. The observatory building also has a couple of fast food restaurants for light snacks and drinks. With thousands of lights from buildings and boats shimmering below, you’ll see why Mt. Inasa is said to possess a ‘10 million dollar view’. We were a bit sceptical of its claims as one of the 3 great nightime city views but it is amazing. Sunset is best time but there are long queues then, so allow extra time if you want to capture the sun setting. Entrance is free at the observatory. Plenty of people at night but the platform is quite spacious. Highly recommend if your in Nagasaki. You don't realise how big Nagasaki is until you come up here. #givethanks #givethanks

Nagasaki is located in Kitakyushu, Japan, and is a famous port and tourist city. There are three places around the mountain, a great location facing the sea and a unique view of the mountains and seas. You can enjoy the dreamy night scene on Inasayama, which also makes Nagasaki win the latest "Japan III". The big night view and the "three big night scenes of the world" double title. This time I came here and went to the restaurant on the Observatory to enjoy dinner and enjoy the night view... definitely one of the most romantic dinners in my heart.

Glover Garden was built for Scottish merchant Thomas Glover, who lived and helped in the industrialization of Japan in the late 19th century. Glover was involved in many businesses including ship building, coal mining, and beer brewing. The houses in the garden are the oldest western - style houses in Japan. They sit on top of the hill and has a beautiful view of the city and the harbor. Mostly for the first foreigners to arrive after Japan’s foreign trade opening in 1851 which were successful in trade and industry, mostly whaling, fishing and shipbuilding. Most convenient is to start with the Glover Sky Elevator, just to the northeast, and then start from the top, only needing to walk downhill.overall this place ok

Nagasaki Peace Park is a park located in Nagasaki, Japan, commemorating the atomic bombing of the city during World War II. This is a nice park area that was quiet when I was there and I felt more like I was there than in Hiroshima. It is important to get the feel there imagining the sorrow, pain, ... the bomb caused. It is vital to realize the ground level elevation and its reason. A must visit location when in Nagasaki as the Nagasaki Bomb Epicenter sits in a lovely park adjacent to the main Peace Park and only a short distance to the Nagasaki Peace Park Museum. #givethanks #givethanks

During World War II, Nagasaki was also the target of an atomic bombing. At the Peace Memorial Park, located right by the Atomic Bomb Museum tram station, you can visit statues and other memorials dedicated to the victims and wishing for peace. Just a short walk from the park is the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. At the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, you can learn about the horrors of the bombing through videos and other exhibits. There are also visually impactful displays such as a reconstruction of the side wall of the Urakami Cathedral, which was destroyed in the blast. Additionally, there is a small observation deck-like spot where you can overlook the city.

#weekendgetaways The museum itself has a beautiful facade and architecture. The design itself makes very good use of natural light.But hidden in it are horrific stories of the aftermath of the atomic bomb. The horrors of war do ring as true today as it does in the past. Wouldn’t post too much of the exhibition but hope anyone who has the time and is in the area will spend an hour or 2 in the exhibition.Fun fact, didn’t know Nagasaki had such a rich Christian history! overall this ok for me
